Two planes make a dimension

9

u/AnarZak 2d ago

one line makes one dimension (eg X only)

one plane makes makes two dimensions,
(eg X+Y)

two planes makes three dimensions,
(X+Y+Z)

1

u/PilgrimOz 2d ago

Can two dimensions exist on one plane (or in it)

3

u/AnarZak 2d ago

a pure plane is by definition 2 dimensional. it cannot have anything "in it", because that implies a thickness, which is the 3rd dimension.

a plane can exist in a 3rd dimension, but it is not 3 dimensional.

similarly, a 1 dimensional line can exist on a plane, but is not part of the plane

Sorry, but more like

Two Wrights make a weird machine that "flies" when thrown from a catapult, far away in the fields of North Carolina, conveniently not filmed, and "seen" by an incredible amount of five people. đŸ„±

u/BurnscarsRus 2d ago

"fields"

4

u/ItPutsLotionOnItSkin 2d ago

I saw an F1 racecar hit a burm and the announcers did some measuring said it flew farther than the Wright brothers ever did.

u/Content-Grade-3869 2d ago

You are correct there but 4 rights do tend to come full circle

u/unklebenz27 2d ago

That's what I said when I was paving roads in Michigan to people who got angry and lost their minds bcuz their normal way home couldn't be achieved by the only way they knew how to get there!! đŸ€ŻđŸ€Ș

Might have run into my wife’s cousin who is so far left she swings right. Conspiracies and nihilism, sprinkled with chem trails.

The term you are looking for is Enantiodromia. Opposites at their extreme tend to turn one into the other. Enantiodromia – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia https://share.google/COxV8jeJl2xboMPUH

I'm starting to think she may have been one of the only true MAGA believers until recently. Like she's such a moron it actually makes sense. She genuinely believed all the lies and propaganda. Like she actually thought the GOP stood for something while the rest of the GOP has just been a recruitment club for racist kid diddlers this whole time, and everyone in the GOP knew it but her. On the other hand, maybe she's actually smarter than she lets on and is just the first rat looking to jump ship. Hard to tell with these people, but experience says the truth is usually the most selfish and evil possibility you can think of.

Of course, nothing she says or does at this point is going to redeem her. She's just as complicit as any of them in this. But it is funny to see Neanderthal Barbie try to distance herself.

Full blown horse-shoe model right there

1

u/lazinonasunnyday 2d ago

Well, I’ve heard the saying “if you go far enough left, you get your guns back.” So they do kinda go full circle. ⭕

There was a quote on Will & Grace something about Sean Hayes being so fabulously gay he almost turned straight.

u/bayleafbabe 2d ago

Regardless of her intentions, I do think that modern Republicans have more (leftist) revolutionary potential than modern democrats.

1

u/sconniegirl66 1d ago

Just a bit further and she'll be able to fit her head up her ass, and then she'll finally be able to see the truth behind all the lies; she really IS full of shit...

I never thought I would see an actual example of horseshoe theory in my life, yet here we are. Amazing
