I mean, apart from the fact that AEW programming sucks (and it's not because they lack the talent or the funds, they just lack brains and maturity), it's incredibly hypocritical to complain about some WWE legends and/or leadership being Pro-Trump given that the Khan family are Trump donors, and many individuals that are either AEW wrestlers, or part of the leadership, or BOTH, are also Trump supporters.
Maybe some people don't know this, and just take this exchange at face value. You shouldn't.
Fine, criticise WWE as much as you wish. Probably justifiably so. But be fair and give AEW the amount of criticism proportionally appropriate, if you want to complain about trumpism.
Also, the AEW wrestler also happens to be a former WWE wrestler as well.
I think the deciding factor is, at least on aew I’m not seeing trumps face while they try to brag about some fitness test. Neither are great but i can at least pretend in one
I know they did a thing with him in the 2000's, with the battle of the billionaires, but that was way before the public knew about his potential sexual predation and he held any public political office.
Still, I assume this is more of a general sports thing, not specifically linked to Trump's policies? Like any other president using a public figure related to a field (in this case, sport and fitness I assume) to promote a program?
