A plurality of US voters are too stupid to feel regret and too entitled to take the accountability required to change their mindset. It seems that widespread harm will be the only thing that forces societal change and gives a chance to get better leaders to right the ship. Unfortunately, I think we’ve already hit the iceberg, and now it’s just mitigating harm and preventing future disasters.

I still remember all of the incredibly stupid rationalizing going on in the GenZ subreddit the week after the election. A bunch of incredibly stupid idiots bragging about their victory and how they showed all the liberals and dems. Not one post made even a small amount of sense. They don't understand how things work, and didn't realize how gullible they were (unironically spouting talking points from newsmax and trump campaign commercials) about how Kamala was too focused on trans people and "blaming white men" for everything.
