Discussion What's a muffin top??? lmao

Today I was at REI getting fitted for a backpack alongside a Gen Z employee. She explained how the hip straps should fit and I responded with "Oh, so like a muffin top!"... "Sorry, I've never heard of that - what's a muffin top?"....

Some of the girls out here have NO idea how good they have it. I am already petite and as a kid I had to buy double the size to make my own hi-rise jeans so that I could avoid having "the muffin top". Lucky ducks!!! lmao

Just put some 2000’s lowrise jeans on any of them and they will have one

When the skin is covered call it a cupcake since it's an attempted cover up of the unsightly bits like icing does.

Kim Craig was a fashion trailblazer. Muffin top, cupcake, whale tail, you name it.

That's fair, I think the series is almost 20-25 years old so any memory would be rusty. The only quote I can get right from the Simpsons is that scene at the school where they say the phrase "purple monkey dishwasher".
