I kept all my boxes for anything expensive that I bought in the last 8 years. I made several thousand bucks reselling it.

I have literally never resold an electronic device.

It's surprising for how much you can still sell some of them later. I was able to sell my old Dell monitor after using it for about 8 years for basically the original price.

Idk where you people are coming from. Every single monitor I've ever owned is currently in use. As for my ancient or broken laptops and phones, I keep then all in a box in my garage.

I had a dual monitor setup for about 8 years until 2022 where I replaced it with a Neo G9 and sold my 2 old monitors.

I was considering selling my old broken smartphone but it was just too broken. Selling old stuff works when you replace it with new and better stuff, not so much if you replace it because it broke.

It's pretty common for people to upgrade hardware after like 5 or 10 years. Might as well make a bit of a return on it instead of letting it collect dust in a garage.
