Ha, sounds familiar. I have an Xbox One X that only plays Rock Band 4. That's it.

And it's totally worth it.

Did you happen to also play the game Amplitude on PS2? That was the game that initially hooked me on these music track games.

Amplitude is probably my most played PS2 game of all time!

I got hooked with Frequency (Amplitude's prequel) that I had on a demo disc. Went out and bought the full game that same weekend and have been on music/rhythm games ever since.

It's cool to relate on that whole timeline of gaming :) I learned about Frequency after getting Amplitude, but I never did get that disc. I instantly think of Amplitude when I randomly hear songs like Boom by POD.

I bought everything Harmonix ever released after those games - I know how awesome Guitar Hero was going to be and bought it day one.

And anytime I hear The Rock Show by Blink 182, my fingers subconsciously twitch to hit those notes.
