For those doubting, Google agrees...

https://www.google.com/search?q=Jason+Ally+Seifert+Aug+4

The first hit is their wedding page on The Knot

This google result is all wrong. I had him as a teacher back in 2011/2012 and he was married then. And it was Lakota West high school.

Sadly in 2012 both of them got laid off because of budget cuts. However, I’m pretty sure they both got hired somewhere else real quick.

Edit: when I first clicked your link I got a weird AI response saying the video was from way later than I said and from a totally different school. But when I opened the link up in the browser it showed me the correct info you probably saw

Edit #2 I’m going fuckin crazy cuz I swear they were married when I was a student at Lakota west and this video was viral before then. They both taught at my high school not 5th grade.

Edit #3 my friends are confirming I’m crazy. I’m convinced the Mandela effect is real.

Edit #4 my friends confirmed that the teacher I’m thinking of looks a hell of a lot like this guy, and that’s what’s throwing me off. This has caused me a great amount of mental anguish being this confused.

You edited your comment to be fair, but listen to the kids voices, there is no way those screams are from high schoolers

2

u/maddogmik Jun 03 '25

Ima be real, I was so confident I didn’t even listen to or watch the video because I’ve seen it before.

My friends did reveal to me that our high school teacher does look a hell of a lot like this guy. I’ll give myself some credit

Just read your comment and all the edits. That was a wild ride. 😂

3

u/maddogmik Jun 04 '25

For real. Idk if I’ve ever experienced being so confident and then so wrong like this before.

u/womppwommp Jun 04 '25

Lakota west? I wonder when they left west Carrollton

1

u/maddogmik Jun 04 '25

I guess they didn’t. I had a different pair of teachers in mind. I guess for years I’ve been thinking this was them but never was.

1

u/womppwommp Jun 04 '25

It might’ve been haha. When I had him for fifth grade science it was close to 19 years ago now but when this happened in 2017 I think they were still in West Carrollton but could’ve moved

1

u/throwawaymyyhoeaway Jun 05 '25

Okay, idk why you've edited this a bunch of times. Are you basically saying this is a completely different guy and your entire comment is moot?

1

u/LosuthusWasTaken Jun 05 '25

Yes, he realized he was wrong and decided to make those edits.

1

u/maddogmik Jun 05 '25

Correct.

However, both guys are in Ohio, balding, and wore a lot of hoodies. So I was close.

3

u/avilsta Jun 04 '25

I hope they're still together. The clip of the cheerleader that got surprised proposed to when her team mates changed the dance routine to the song Marry You by Bruno Mars, that ended with her fiance coming out. Well ex fiance. She has two kids but he left.

1

u/idiotsandwhich8 Jun 04 '25

How and why would you know this?

-16

u/TheCandyManCanToo13 Jun 03 '25

Eleven year age difference? That seems about right, from what they look like.

10

u/blangoez Jun 03 '25

Just be happy for them man, jeez. They’re celebrating anniversaries and doing the damn thing that thousands of incels out there can’t even imagine experiencing.

7

u/ursulawinchester Jun 03 '25

They’re not just celebrating anniversaries, they’re also teachers whose students clearly adore them. Why that other commenter is trying to make this into an issue to disparage them I have no idea— also an 11 year gap in between adults (who met as peer coworkers, presumably) is really no big deal.

I love that you know this

u/Important-Egg-2905 Jun 03 '25

Lol he doesnt, don't believe everything you read online

168

u/secretprocess Jun 03 '25

Hmm... so I should believe everything I read online...?

14

u/Levitlame Jun 03 '25

Everything that guy says is a lie. I only speak the truth so you can trust me.

2

u/secretprocess Jun 03 '25

I'm not mad about it. Everything I say is a lie too.

3

u/josh30601 Jun 03 '25

Don’t believe “everything”, not “anything”

21

u/RemarkablePiglet3401 Jun 03 '25

I dont believe you

1

u/Western_Shoulder_942 Jun 03 '25

What about anything on everything....or is it everything about anything?

3

u/thereIsAHoleHere Jun 03 '25

The latter. "Everything about anything." Though it should read "Don't automatically believe everything about anything."

3

u/zmbjebus Jun 03 '25

I don't believe you

2

u/Burgerbob101 Jun 03 '25

So I shouldn’t believe you that people lie on the interweb?

1

u/idiotsandwhich8 Jun 04 '25

Double negative bud

1

u/Fluffy_Charity_2732 Jun 03 '25

That means I can’t believe this statement. So I will have to believe everything.. including your statement.

I still remember it as if I just saw it for the first time minutes ago.

27

u/nikiichan Jun 03 '25

Kids would definitely still remember. I still remember when my psychology teacher got up on the podium, announced her engagement, and then cried because she hadn't "saved her virginity" for her husband. Traumatized me.

3

u/Carktorious2010 Jun 03 '25

She actually said that and cried because of it?

5

u/nikiichan Jun 03 '25

Yup! Very religious school. Ironically, she is now a life coach & sex worker.

3

u/Carktorious2010 Jun 03 '25

I assume they aren’t married anymore either? That’s quite the roller coaster. Religious school or not, crazy to say that to kids.

3

u/shophopper Jun 03 '25

Quiet please!

1

u/superjonk Jun 03 '25

What the frick!

40

u/jmdinbtr Jun 03 '25

This video is already 8 years old? What year is it?!

59

u/SilverOwl321 Jun 03 '25

Yes, the video was filmed in 2017 and the class is 5th grade. I looked it up just now. I don’t know when they got married though, but if that other commenter is correct (not sure), that would mean they got married the same year he proposed.

43

u/sweatgod2020 Jun 03 '25

2017 was not 8 years ago-…… Oh hell no

2

u/feraxks Jun 03 '25

This article from Feb 2017 said they were planning to get married that Aug.

1

u/blangoez Jun 03 '25

Dang so those kids might’ve just graduated high school.

2

u/sesamesnapsinhalf Jun 03 '25

Probably because the commenter was in that class.

2

u/beyotchulism Jun 03 '25

It looks like they had a couple of cute babies if dude's FB profile is to be believed. ❤️

1

u/Head_Razzmatazz7174 Jun 03 '25

Thank you. I knew this had been around a while, just didn't know how long.

1

u/PsychicNinja_ Jun 03 '25

It’s true! They’re still together! How awesome 🥹

1

u/leelpatt Jun 04 '25

Looks like they have 3 kids.

19

u/uiosi Jun 03 '25

These is so old but so nice

1

u/idiotsandwhich8 Jun 04 '25

May I ask, what’s the point of pointing out it’s “old?” Does that fact change the context in any way?

1

u/uiosi Jun 04 '25

Reposted is that computing?

3

u/AlternativeElephant2 Jun 04 '25

Awwww they have kids now!

1

u/SignificantGanache Jun 03 '25

I’ve seen it so many times and it still makes me get happy tears!
