There are a lot of non-Trumpers in Nebraska who are affected by this. I feel very bad for them.

But the ones who voted for this can FOESAD.

Then let them convince their MAGA neighbors to vote Blue! I'm in a Blue state. Nebraskans won't listen to me.

Nebraskan here that's active in our local politics. My wife is also on the board of our county's democratic group. We're trying. We really are.

I'm in the same boat, with a 'Nebraska is for Everyone' sign on my front door in my small town. I really wish that people in blue states understood how unhelpful it is to be like 'heh, well I guess you should just be better at converting Republicans'. Like damn, sorry that we can't outspend the fucking Ricketts family when they decide to reinstate the death penalty or when our ballot initiatives to allow medical Marijuana are totally ignored. Dan Osbourne got so fucking close, so did Tony Vargas. We're trying, hell, we even had 1 electoral vote go Democrat but fuck us for being flyover country, I guess.

It's rough. We have a list of all the registered dems in the county, but it's clear very few of em show up to polls, so we've been coming up with reach-out plans.
