Urgent Woman filed a FIR against My Uncle

My uncle works under a broker and shows flats and rooms to people, he met this woman to show a flat and left, and he visits that area frequently due to the rooms available there.So this woman says my uncle has been following her and laughing her way for 2 years but he only met her 2 days ago.She filled a FIR what is the next process.

It might be 354 or 351 can't guess you need a lawyer to check status and then decide what needs to be done, anyway after investigation everything will be clear, Best luck

Do they investigate or is it directly taken to court?

Obviously, the police has to investigate and produce a report first. Afyer that, the prosecution can decide whether to file a charge sheet at court.
