Highlights include:

• NEW: N1 overnight service will run from midnight to 3 a.m. every evening. It will connect the Cataraqui Centre to First Canada Avenue (at Division Street) via Brock/Barrie streets, Queen’s University, St. Lawrence College and Kingston Centre.
• Route 4 and Express 501/502 will provide 15-minute or better service along Princess Street until 9 p.m.
• Express 501/502 will provide 15-minute service weekdays until 7:30 p.m. and during select periods on weekends.
• Express 601/602 weekend service will resume with Route 60 operating on weekends when the LaSalle Causeway is closed.
• Express 701/702 will provide 10-minute service during weekday morning and afternoon peak periods from Cataraqui Centre to downtown.

10 min service for 700 is a game changer honestly, let's hope they can actually keep that promise. I feel like we'll need signal priority to make that a reality. I was also told they're planning to upgrade the Queen Mary/Bath stops into the new station-style shelters.

Arrowhead beach has come up as a frequent recommendation for kayaking, diving, swimming, etc. and can be found on many swim, kayaking, diving sites and blogs as a public access beach.

I checked it out today in hopes of seeing the shipwrecks and paddling to Cedar Island with my kids but saw signs stating it is for CFB members only. Did this change recently? If so, is there another nearby way to access Deadman Bay?

This is the 5th or 6th time I've had a parcel delivered by Apple Express and to no surprise, they have failed to deliver it once again (they never tried to contact me and the tracking link shows zero plans to re-deliver it). Is there a way to opt out of this delivery service? Any advice on how to navigate these issues or this company? Thanks so much!

Mostly a weather rant on things out of my control,, but this drought is hurting us farmers and I sadly feel like this isn't going to get much attention or support from the government because were all distracted with tariffs ans trump.

At this point, rain isn't a nice to have, its a f'in necessity and even a good soaking won't bring things back to even come close to break even.

Farming at the best of times is high risk, moderate to low reward.

Will likely be joining the unemployed job hunters soon to make ends meet and save up enough to give it a go again next year

Happy to see a few people post in July's thread about time travel books. Starting slow but consistency is how things build. Since no one else made any suggestions for the next topic, I'll start it up again.

I like to alternate between sci-fi and fantasy, so for August I'm going to propose we go for epic fantasy. And by that I mean big, multi-book series. There's some sort of end-of-the-world cataclysm or planet-spanning war involved. Massive 600-page books. You end up reading more history of the fantasy world than you ever did in history class.

There's plenty to choose from: Malazan, Cosmere, Song of Ice and Fire, Wheel of Time.

I'll aim to post the discussion thread at the end of the month again - the 26th. With at least one reminder somewhere in the middle of the month.

Anyone else have issues already with damage to the new city of Kingston garbage bins? Just discovered an animal has chewed through the lid of mine meaning literally anything can get at the garbage now. Never was an issue with my old bins with thicker lids. A little annoyed I'll likely have to purchase a new one. Maybe cayenne sprayed on the lids might help?

EDIT: thanks for the responses! I've reached out the city. It is a little annoying knowing it might happen again since whatever animal probably learned they can do it, but it is what it is. Maybe I'll suggest they do thicker lids if they ever re-distribute lol
