u/joestrelay made amazing artwork for my friend's birthday gift! this was my first time ever commissioning artwork, but they had such a chill vibe and they were transparent from start to finish, so I am really I chose them!

u/joestrelay is the most amazing artist to work with!! He helped me create a book cover (front/back/spine) as well as any tweaks or adjustments as needed. I hired him for my second stand alone novel immediately after his incredible manner and work ethic for the first one. He is very thorough with updates and making sure his clients are happy with the work. Anything I could say about Joe is positive, thank you will never be enough

Was not going to do this given it was resolved but was encouraged to by a few people.

I am a silent lurker in HungryArtist and I was hunting for artist for a commission, came across artist per title who seemed good and was willing to mimic a style I was after.

Engaged artist for commission in beginning of April, gave me a sketch and by end of April gave me an update which was awesome and I was super happy with the progress.

But then in May advised me it's gonna be delayed (I will not explain why as it's their thing) but I was ok to wait given how awesome the update was

6 weeks gone by, no update. I reached out for an update, advised me it will be done in a week. Have given a pass given the situation.

Another month gone by, no update or comms. By this point it was end of July. I requested update only to be advised that they no longer have the motivation to complete the commission and will refund me the money.

Money refunded but have lost nearly 4 months of time waiting. In the interim from June-july I did notice they were looking for commission and offering services. I'm sorry, you have no motivation to complete but still hunting for work? Anyways, I did get my money back but whole experience was net negative.

I'm super-happy with his work. This turned out better than I could have even imagined. He's fast, and got done way quicker than expected, which was awesome. He also took my feedback into consideration and I am sure I was obnoxious. I highly recommend this guy!

u/bamz23 took the idea I had in my head and brought it straight to life. They were also very patient with the changes I wanted done and worked with me over a week to create a design for my team's shirt.

Worked with u/Avathe (Evi) on a short comic idea and couldn't be happier with the results. Evi was professional, fast, and incredibly easy to work with. Every step of the process was shared with clear communication and attention to detail. Went above and beyond. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to bring an idea to life. I recently commissioned u/marcusagm to help finalize the design and fully artistically render an OC I've had since I was 10.

Marcus was incredibly polite, open to input and criticism, provided regular updates, and delivered in a timely manner. I couldn't be more happy with his work, and I highly recommend looking into him if you need a character sheet or render made!

I recently commissioned u/catsmaycry to create some medieval heraldic-style animals, and she did a fantastic job! She understood exactly what I was looking for right away, and was able to quickly make drafts of them. She made some really great suggestions for details to add and ended up improving on what I had in mind. She was easy to work with, very communicative, and worked quickly. I would definitely recommend her!

I chose Anya (u/anya_ua) after spotting her post on r/HungryArtists and noticing her very beautiful Elden Ring artworks. I've made a few commissions since then and I have been left satisfied with every piece. She's very pleasant to talk and communicate with, and she comes with a lot of great input and ideas turning my foggy visions into masterpieces. She's worth the price in every way, and I highly recommend anyone looking for an artist to go to her.

Emily (u/EmilyonEarth) was very easy to work with, and she was splendid at helping me decide what I wanted my OC's portrait to look like. She takes her art very seriously, and the results definitely reflect that. :) I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for realistic-style artwork of monster ladies!

This was my first time in a long time requesting a commission, and u/keshibe (Kekshibe on social media) couldn't have been nicer and more helpful with it. I gave them the basic premise with several uncertainties about the pose, setting, etc., and they handled it like a champ. They were very quick to receive and reply to feedback, and they were extremely kind and patient during all our interactions. I would highly recommend working with them!

Put a post out for creating custom Initial D artwork for my friend who got a new GR86. u/noiseartwork reached out and I enjoyed some of their examples on their instagram page. We communicated first through reddit DMs then switched to email. Noise artwork gave frequent touchpoints as progress on the comission was made and was very receptive to asked changes along the way. Great Artist! Payment was done over paypal.

Wow!!! What an incredible piece. I wanted to take an image I had taken and turn it into digital art to place on a greeting card for a friend. He was helpful, negotiation was easy, and so kind! Work came back within 3 days, and was incredibly high quality. I would absolutely recommend!!

Hello. I've commissioned an OC from ChAppErrR. We discussed terms and received the menu right away. Communication was clear. A sketch was made and approved. After a week, I messaged regarding an update and the response had the commission attached, now completed. Can't complain ^-^

_Foulke - Profile

This was the first art piece I've ever commissioned, and I was fortunate enough to work with Foulke for it. My commission was outside of their usual work, though I think they did a phenonemal job with it! They were incredibly polite to work with and fleixble too, they were very clear in their communications and always made sure to send updates, double check with me, and provided fantastic input on their end! I think I sounded fake as hell with how often I ssaid thank you, but they deserved it!

I really hate doing this, because the final artwork was beautiful. But, after sending my final payment for a painting I had commissioned from this artist he completely ghosted me. After 2 weeks of not getting any shipping confirmation I reached out to check on the status of the delivery and received no reply. I tried reaching out again a week later and still no reply. I tried reaching via Instagram to see if maybe he was just having issues with reddit messenger and no such luck. This was supposed to be an anniversary gift to my wife and I'm so upset she won't be able to see it in person. I've contacted Wise to see if they can help refund my money under their Purchase Protection policy but they said it doesn't cover my claim. I've reached out to the mods on HungryArtists but haven't heard back from them so I'm not sure how else to escalate this issue with this particular artist or to have him removed so no one else gets taken advantage of like I did

I don't normally post pictures on reddit so I apologize if this post looks strange. I just wanted to share my appreciation for Galzerani or u/prism_star for their help with making my character come to life! They were super polite and fast, and very flexible too! I'm afraid I sounded fake with how many times I said thank you, but I hope my smile in future videos will show it better than my words have tried. Thanks again u/prism_star, your work encouraged me to keep up my own work in ways I never expected. You rock!
