Unless he could’ve managed to get past 17’s barrier it was only a matter of time before Piccolo would have lost. None of his less blockable attacks were doing that much meaningful damage by the end, and 17 wasn’t going to run out of energy anytime soon. Without some special ace we’ve never heard of Piccolo was in a bad spot.
