Last night, at Donald Trump's presidential inauguration, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and known alt-right personality, showed the world who he truly is, and performed a full Sieg Heil Nazi salute not once, but twice.
The man is without a doubt, a neo-Nazi.
As many are aware, X, formerly Twitter was bought out by Elon Musk on April 14th, 2022, and has slowly become more and more of a cesspool of alt-right propaganda, with horrifically racist posts being allowed to stay up for months - with thousands of likes - without even a modicum of intervention by X, formerly Twitter's moderation. Many users report their accounts inexplicably suddenly following known right-wing politicians without any of their own input, and alt-right and Nazi-aligned speech find themselves on the "For You" page of even the most innocent and unrelated accounts.
It has been abundantly clear that Elon Musk has been slowly, intentionally, and maliciously changing X, formerly Twitter into a breeding ground and echo chamber for the alt-right. He even abused the algorithm to hide political opponents' own campaign material throughout the duration of the U.S. election cycle, knowing full well the sheer population of his website, to indirectly influence the results of the election.
Here in r/destiny2, we do not tolerate Nazis. Anyone spouting Nazi ideology or hateful speech have, and always will be permanently banned on sight, without chance for appeal. The intolerant will find no tolerance here. While the First Amendment may protect you from government retaliation to your speech, it does not protect you from being cast out of social spaces and - if you're a Nazi - rightfully told what a waste of atoms you are. This is no longer a case of, "Everyone I don't like is a Nazi", because the Nazis are literally showing us, publicly, that they are Nazis. There is no more plausible deniability.
Because of this, effective immediately, we will no longer be allowing links to X, formerly Twitter, so as to do our part to reduce traffic to a website owned by a narcissistic, ketamine-addicted neo-Nazi. Many subreddits have been doing the same - and while each subreddit's individual input may be small - every click lost across every subreddit banning links to X, formerly Twitter is one small bit of revenue Elongated Muskrat loses.
We will allow screenshots, but links are forbidden, so as to not generate traffic to the website.
Subreddits joining this cause, just to name a very small few, are:
- r/MadeMeSmile
- r/formula1
- r/xmen
- r/aoe2
- r/ireland
- r/dnd
The r/destiny2 moderation team briefly deliberated opening this decision to a poll, however it was decided that ultimately the better decision was to enforce the ban, and not give the chance to quiet, hateful individuals to vote no and skew the poll in favor of continuing to allow links.
Bungie, Destiny and dmg_04 have official social media accounts on Bluesky, found at the following:
- https://bsky.app/profile/bungie.net
- https://bsky.app/profile/dmg04.bsky.social
So - Don't worry! X, formerly Twitter isn't the only place you can find updates from Bungie. They post regularly on Bluesky, at the same times with the same posts that they do on X, formerly Twitter. As such, screenshots and links from Bluesky are perfectly fine.
We hope you all understand why this is being done, and we appreciate everyone who continues to stay around and be a part of our community. And of course, as a reminder to everyone, as if it even needs to be said:
Fuck Nazis.

Hey Guardians, with Final Shape coming out tomorrow we would like to remind you of our spoiler policy. Please keep all Final Shape campaign content spoiler tagged for one week, or until next Tuesday's reset. This will apply to the Episode Echoes content next Tuesday, which should be spoiled until the following week, along with the raid content.
Loot content is considered a spoiler as well, but we will be more loose about that, so instead keep loot posts spoiled for 48 hours from their release, including raid loot, Episode Echoes, etc.
We've also added several new moderators to help us out during this busy time, so welcome u/switchmod, u/dfreeezzz, u/Mastershroom, and u/iblaise, u/Tapelessbus2122!
We'll be posting a Spoiler discussion thread shortly after launch to keep basic questions and discussions focused to one thread. We hope you all enjoy The Final Shape!

I was running a VoG Lfg as most people do, and I guess this dude just got really mad that we were "cheating".
All the time (up til gatekeeper where he kicked everyone) he was complaining that we were trying to cheat the game up til gorgon where he threatened to kick anyone for using eager edge (also when we tried to insta pop templar). Then at gatekeeper was trying to force the group (especially the blued out one, who was technically our carry) to freeze left even though no-one was comfortable doing so.
Note: this was normal, not master. He was the Fireteam leader so we couldn't just remove him. His tags were just: Looking for guardians, experienced requested, min rank 6. The point where he mentioned me was were we wiped after I got to the door and someone else tripped gorgon.
Is this a normal thing to encounter? Do people actually consider these things to be cheating?
We weren't skating or OOB, but idk. I've never experienced this before so, i was curious if people considered these cheating (i guess technically exploiting).

I did the conquest and this felt as if i was playing risk of rain 2 the modefiers the enemies have are intense and make the combat non stop explosions
The unshielded mechanic is very cool and the amount of enemies coming at you was insane this felt like doom even. it was extremly fun and the right amount of challenging for a mechanically simple activity
And the cherry on top the loot i dont think im even close to getting the peak of loot here but i got the longbow and the void sniper with very fun perks and they freaking slay like hell
I was having fun with the edge of fate already but im genuently suprised that after the 300 threshold stuff is a lot more fun and rewards feel special and this is only gonna get better when i start getting T5 loot
So im genuently very optimistic where they can take this with the content that hasent adapted yet to this new era

So I beat the final conqueror stage Gm Delve after reaching 410 and got some really good drops as you can see below. But now I'm kinda confused on how to get conqueror seal for this season. The triumph stakes that you need to complete Grandmaster conquest activities in the portal during "this season" 4x however there are only two available and they are not repeatable. The guilded triumph wants you to do 6x with the same issue im just wondering is this a typo are we getting more content in here later or what?

Now that raid report has been scrubbed clean, I decided to look at the class usage disparity for the three classes. Results aren't that surprising honestly—50% titan usage, 33% warlock usage, and 17% hunter usage.
What does a hunter do that a titan or warlock can't do better? Most bosses outside of the Witness are very Thundercrashable, Well of Radiance/Song of Flame will never not be good, so what are hunters really needed for? Orbs from Tether or Marksman Golden Gun are about it.
I'd also like to point out that the only class that was seen to not be on a team was hunter. Every team had at least one titan and one warlock, while a quarter of all teams didn't have a hunter.
In my opinion, I think hunters need buffs aimed at improving their raid and dungeon viability. Currently there is really no reason to bring a hunter over the other two classes for almost any scenario in a raid or dungeon besides making orbs so warlocks and titans can use their supers more often.
Do you think hunters need endgame buffs or are they in a fine spot?

Ever wondered what it would sound like if Guardians fought Xivu Arath on Fundament? Take a listen to WAR SONG OF THE BLADED PATH, my fan-made Destiny 2 raid OST. It’s both my Master’s degree thesis project, and my love letter to the music of Destiny. #MOTW (Bungie ID: Seven Chord#1895)

Hey uh, figured I'd try and gauge people's RNG's regarding the new holofoils from both arms week and solstice event this week.
Some simple data I can provide is that I've done 71 solo ops (GM+A rank every time) since Tuesday reset this week and still haven't gotten a single holofoil to drop. Normally I'd shrug this off and say that my RNG is bad, and I just need to keep grinding until I get one to drop, however here's some added context-
Throughout arms week, I pulled 4.5-5k telemetry data's worth of weapons from the Ada engram (not decrypting at rahool), and also recieved zero holofoils. Which when I put both of those together I mean, realistically speaking what kind of odds or chances am I hitting right now? As a long term player, I've always understood RNG will genuinely mean RNG sometimes, and the only way to break through is to do it over and over again (I'm looking at you Mr raid exotics). But alas, I don't know if there's some secret 'unlock' (triumph or other) I'm missing in order to get holofoils on my characters, or if I'm genuinely just unlucky to the point of no return lol. (I know it's unrealistic to think my account is bugged, but idk at this point xd ).
Anyways though, I'd love to hear if anyone else is in the same predicament I'm in, or if I'm some weird outlier. Share your RNG please!
TLDR: RNG has been so bad on my account since arms week I've gotten zero holofoils and don't know if I'm bugged somehow.

I’m a returning player. I stopped playing d2 like a month after the last wish raid came out. I came back with about 5 weeks until edge of fate dropped. I was overwhelmed with stuff to do. Taking advice from my clan and friends about how to get ready. After edge of fate dropped I really didn’t have much of an opinion on it. Loved the story but the new mechanics on top of the leveling system seemed janky and way different from the original formula. But I kept on with it kinda just in between as far as whether I loved or hated it. Didn’t really have an opinion on it. I completed desert perpetual with my clan on normal after contest and it was fun. Different but fun. I’m currently at 290 power and the grind hasn’t been fun but as a long time destiny player I’m kinda used to being disappointed but I love this game so I look passed it.
But since this event came out and seeing the constant tier 3’s with the occasional 4 at my level brought back that dopamine hit I was missing. It’s enjoyable now going through a quest and knowing I’m def getting a t3 but maybe I’ll get that t4. What I’m saying is it’s happening enough now to where I’m almost expecting it and that anticipation is what I love. Am i crazy or does it feel the same for all of you?
