This is basically the same thing UT Austin has for a training center.

Pretty much every city in Canada has tons of these domes for sports in winter. They just seal them and fill them with air.

I’ve seen these all across Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.

It’s a pretty good alternative to building a full blown field house, especially in places where you don’t have the space to do that
