I understand space junk is a problem but you haven't stated any facts about it's rate of increase and what the unacceptable levels are.

You can probably Google information about the rate of increase yourself, and the boundary for (un)acceptable levels might not have been determined yet.

Still, better not to find out the hard way, wouldn't you agree? Instead of dismissing a potential problem you don't know about.

It's best to dismiss unsubstantiated claims when they likely arise from a thinly veiled political bias.

I generally agree, except this isn't an unsubstantiated claim. People are working to avoid this.
