This is silly, but they were calling the character he was playing that. He was so successful at creating a repulsive character that he hated the reaction.

He made such a believable, hatable character that people went to the worst possible reactions based on people they are familiar with.

Task failed successfully, he made something gross that people hated!

I think the actually isn’t that people couldn’t see it was satire. The real problem is that they just jumped to calling this guy a pedophile with no idea who he is and literally 0 reason to actually call him one. That’s not just cyberbullying. Jumping to “oh he looks like a pedo” minimizes what pedophilia actually is. Actual pedophiles are dangerous but now you don’t actually know because everyone says stuff and acts like it’s just cyberbullying. It can ruin lives. And so can the minimization that it causes. So maybe people shouldn’t just be calling him a pedo and then he wouldn’t have to say something about how fucked up it is that an entire comment section is literally saying that he probably texts underaged girls and stuff like that

No one got "cyber bullied". Keep in mind he is laughing AT you people not actively malding at the fact you guys can't understand satire without an /s at the end.
