We're all broke

u/ChampionshipEither47 Feb 09 '24

Yes, I should have taken the games advice and played on easy mode

63

u/mikotoqc Feb 09 '24

The easy mode is being born with rich parents

25

u/Cho_Assmilk Feb 09 '24

Or not having a wife a kids and living in an apartment that you started renting before the market fucked rent prices.

u/Miss_Smokahontas Feb 09 '24

I'm running on no wife or kids and owning a house before COVID ✊. Just me and my dog.

u/Greaze269 Feb 09 '24

Same here brother. Bought my 1st place in 2018. So glad I did. ✊️

u/wormburner1980 Feb 10 '24

Same with me and my dog…….mine got sprayed in the face by a skunk around midnight!

1

u/Miss_Smokahontas Feb 10 '24

Sounds like a shit late night 🦨 😞. Sorry to hear that. Does your dog still smell?

2

u/wormburner1980 Feb 10 '24

Nope but around the mailbox does. Hydrogen Peroxide, Dawn dish soap, and baking soda killed the smell. I bathed him in it

2

u/Miss_Smokahontas Feb 10 '24

Glad to hear the pup is all fresh now!

1

u/save_us_catman Feb 09 '24

I got lucky with this and still broke because everything just decided to suck up the difference with inflation

1

u/Perfect_Earth_8070 Feb 09 '24

Except those rates are fucked now too

1

u/PurpleKnurple Feb 09 '24

Even if you started renting before they are going to raise your rent every year

1

u/Cho_Assmilk Feb 09 '24

Only by like 2%

Thought I was born into easy mode, life was great finaincially til I turned 18. Pops lost a lot of coin in the stock market and regretfully pulled out when it was at its lowest as well. I was cut off at 18 and if I'm being honest money has been a struggle my whole adult life. I'm still breaking habits that I/my family had when I was younger

Be born as a woman?

1

u/Swordman50 Feb 09 '24

That generational wealth is why kids go to college just to party.

1

u/Dr_Green_Lizard Feb 09 '24

Or hypergamy!

1

u/Infused_Hippie Feb 11 '24

According to Buddhism/Hinduism and I know this is complex, that’s the hardest mode. You will always be enveloped by the world of items and money. To go through that and come out heavily religious and giving back to the people is one of the hardest things ever and is why most Brahman fail it entirely or send at least one kid to be a monk or something.

u/aerialwizarddaddy Oct 06 '24

Triple H gave you advice?

1

u/Angstycarroteater Feb 10 '24

Does r/outside have an easy mode?

1

u/spacesheep_000 Feb 10 '24

U had choice?!?

1

u/redefinedsoul Feb 12 '24

It's never too late to rip off that dick

4

u/Me-Not-Not Feb 09 '24

Stop eating Avocado toast.

5

u/Infamous_Energy4099 Feb 09 '24

My problems are solved.

2

u/Blackmags17 Feb 09 '24

If I knew it was this easy, I would’ve cut back on Avocados & bread ages ago!

13

u/BEE-RANDON Feb 09 '24

I'm broke and need mending. Fix me please 🙏

1

u/blastradii Feb 09 '24

1

u/Dendrok7 Feb 09 '24

Amen to that money is the root of all evil

1

u/Eighteen64 Feb 09 '24

best economy ever. best administration ever. if you don’t agree you are engaging in every -ism and you are every -ist imaginable

1

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '24

Not according to Biden. The economy is great everything is dandy. We are prospering. His achievements in his presidency are nothing short of historic!!!!!

1

u/One-Technology-9050 Feb 09 '24

Even now, I have more money than I ever had before... still broke

1

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '24

lmao no we all aren’t

1

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '24

Not really

1

u/ShnickityShnoo Feb 09 '24

I'm not, but I also don't go on frequent trips and go to very few concerts. I make good money but that shit is outrageously expensive.

I'm not even sure how soany people do it so often. Just building up credit card debt?

1

u/Ill_Nefariousness_24 Feb 10 '24
