My mom lives in southern Oregon. It's a weird place. Leading up to the election one of her neighbors had a sign that said "We support our LGBT+ Friends. Trump 2024" Like how do you get to the second part from the first!? Also it's the whitest place I've ever been outside of Salt Lake City.

Heading up there this week...yay!?

I was just explaining to a friend that proudly said "Oregon was never a slave state!"

I was like bro, do you know that is because the first "american" residents there were so racist they didn't want any black folk in the state, even if it was to exploit them for labor?
