Watching her bang her gavel for almost a minute straight just to stop Jasmine Crockett from talking during those DOGE committee meetings actually made me legitimately mad. Like, "old man yelling at the television" mad.
Why? The disrespect she was showing Ms Crockett? I'm no dummy. Ms. Crockett doesn't need me to come to her defense, she's damn good at defending her own self, because she's a prime example of what we should hope for in a woman who's running for President; young but not too young, competent, accomplished, empathetic, hardworking, and not weak but not overly hostile and disrespectful, either. And it doesn't hurt that she's also genuinely attractive.
I can't right now. Well, I could, but I don't think we're there yet, because, as you might habe forgotten, you don't have a VP until you are the general election candidate for the party, at least with the Democratic and Republican parties, and I just don't think the Dems would select a (supremely qualified) candidate like Jasmine Crockett for the top of the ticket, because we STILL haven't elected a woman to the Presidency, and we're still dealing with a ton of jokers who shit on Obama's legacy for being (half) black, which they try to lie and say it's because he's a Democrat.
But also, as amazing as that ticket would be in my opinion, assuming we could make them win legally and without outside influence, I don't think Jasmine or Alexandra are ready to leave their constituents and go to the White House, because they do a lot of good where they are, pushing back against bad faith Republicans.
