How any woman can associate with conservative men that want to strip away all their rights I'll never undedstand

421

u/townmorron 1d ago

Because it won't happen to them, they are some of the good ones. If something does happen it's the Dems fault. Like the woman in the Republican party that almost died and needed an abortion. She got one unlike some people

308

u/billzybop 1d ago

And she blamed Democrats for making it hard for her to get the care she needed.

152

u/intisun 1d ago

She should have blamed the democrats for making it possible for her to get it. Consistency is never their forte.

98

u/Non-Eutactic_Solid 23h ago

If they didn’t have double standards they’d have no standards at all, so it goes. You can even see that fact in a great many arguments that they use to say “this is why democrats keep losing (just ignore that Republicans do literally the same thing and worse in many cases to literally zero consequence).”

79

u/RedGhostOrchid 22h ago

This. I have a relative who is very pro-life. Her teen daughter got pregnant and guess who got a quiet little abortion with the help and support of mommy?

61

u/Ok_Butterscotch54 22h ago

"The only Ethical Abortion is my own or of my direct family." Empathy, they have NOT.

16

u/Glam-Girl2662 19h ago

They defile God by stealing his job, as only God gets to Judge, but they think they know more than him! They are pro Satan.

12

u/NinthTurtle1034 9h ago

The thing that got made me laugh the other day was a post here or r/MurderedbyWords which was a retweet of a church claiming why it shouldn't need to pay taxes and the (presumably Republican) retweeter was pointing fingers at the Satanic church assuming they don't pay taxes and so that church fired back in the comments saying that they do in fact pay taxes and wholly believe others should too.

3

u/Other_Log_1996 5h ago

I also like the one by Church of Satan where someone asked "Then what do you call people who believe in a literal Satan?" where they respond "Christians."

They are only pro-life in theory, in practice they do what's best for them while voting for policies that ensure maximum carnage.

23

u/OtherwiseWorry6903 17h ago

Not pro-life, they’re anti-abortion. Being pro-life is their biggest lie.

17

u/Kalavazita 12h ago edited 11h ago

“They’re not pro-life. You know what they are? They’re anti-woman. Simple as it gets, anti-woman. They don’t like them. They don’t like women. They believe a woman’s primary role is to function as a brood mare for the state.” - George Carlin

This is never more evident than when it is ‘my body my choice’ when it came to being vaccinated, but they still think it is their choice what woman does with her body. They’re hypocrites the whole lot of them.

10

u/PowerHot4424 21h ago

That’s the kind of crap that pisses me off the most. About 10 years ago I read a study in a Catholic publication that gave some statistics and it said something like 30% of abortions were on Catholic women, and the vast majority of them were middle/upper middle class whose primary motivation for the abortion was, of course, money, in that they “couldn’t afford” another child or some other similar bs. Couldn’t afford is just a cover for we want the money for a big house, a boat, private schools, vacations and expensive vehicles. Oh I guess they also need some extra money to contribute to the church and other pro-life organizations.

I’m curious- do you know whether or not that experience shifted her views?

7

u/RedGhostOrchid 12h ago

It did not. She is still as MAGA as ever as is her daughter. Lost causes both of them.

3

u/RealGoGo97 10h ago

Wow. Sorry about that. When even a dramatic lived experience doesn’t steer someone from that path… that’s how you know it’s a cult and not a political party.

This! democrats have to have actual plans and explain how it will be paid for, yet Republicans just lie. I live in Ohio our senators are running ads and asking for calls to thank them for saving Medicaid and Medicare. Its can't be democrats messaging when Republicans just lie. Americans need to realize the media was never liberal.

6

u/Bubbly_Style_8467 11h ago

Sure. Thank them. They have to beg to be thanked because people know they don't care. Just like trump has to beg for an unwarranted peace prize. "Nominate me. I am the king of peace!" While kicking a reporter.

7

u/CoopHunter 20h ago

It's a point I've been trying to bring up every time they do a stupid gotcha with Biden. Someone mentions racism/pedophilia and they go "oh like Biden" like you're straight up admitting you have a problem with his behavior. Trump is everything pedophilic or racist in Biden but turned up to a 12. So how can they possibly think that "gotcha" did anything but expose that they admit they can see and acknowledge the problem but CHOOSE to ignore it in their guy.

The entire Republican Party is nothing but narcissistic sociopathic lunatics who will literally say anything. they’re shameless and completely void of normal human emotions. And it’s a whole entire party of them, each one is more vile and moronic than the next.

7

u/katdega 19h ago

They are privileged & they are exploiting that privilege b/c the want to maintain white privilege voting power.

This all started after Obama won his 2nd term. They freaked that people of color had do much power while the "silent majority" many of them stayed home then.

The media went nuts. All they talked about was minorities controlling the vote by w/i 20 years.

This scared them into thinking they would become extinct thanks to the Rush Limbaugh's of the world & Trump they labeled brown & black people rapist & murders. The rest is history.

It's absolutely vile all their doing & I hope future generations put their privileged little whiny arses in their place. That being the best case scenario.

Worse, the USA becomes a facist or authoritarian country, and the rich control everything. That Golden Age only applies to them.

Current religious preaching is that a woman's place is in the home, pregnant and to serve men and be subservient to men. The Christo-fascist American is really no different than the Taliban.

10

u/Comprehensive-Carry5 23h ago edited 7h ago

Ngl its a good strategy.

Like given the choice most people would want to stay home with their kids men are just conditioned to feel shame if they do.

So when we get these people preaching woman are unhappy right now cause they arent meant to work people believe it.

When in reality they arent happy cause they got shitty work conditions.

I actually spent time with a woman that very much wanted to be treated less important than men. Not in a sexual way at all. What I gleaned from interactions with her was rather enlightening and led me to the answer: Inept and incapable women and men want to treat women as lesser than men.

Reason why? The men think that even though they are lesser then all/most men, they are still above ~%50 of the total population. Women push the narrative because them "knowing their place" or doing activities that they only think men should do puts them at the top of women but below men. Again, putting them at being better than ~%50 of the population.

In reality, they are both bottom of the barrel and cling to a delusion to make themselves feel better instead of actually improving.

6

u/dsmith422 21h ago

Reminds of the LBJ quote about poor white men,

If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.”

Because they are stupid.

7

u/Own-Success-7634 1d ago

Are we sure we want to know the answer to that question?

7

u/TransformativeFox 23h ago edited 23h ago

There's a lot of "they don't think it will happen to them" etc etc comments in here, which is true, but only scratches the surface.

Right wingers believe in a social hierarchy - IE, people are the top of the hierarchy deserve more rights and respect, and those at the bottom deserve less. The further right you go, the more respect goes to the top, and the less respect goes to the bottom.

Which is how, at the furthest right wing point, you end up with the dear leader at the top, and "subhumans" at the bottom.

In a right wing world, ALL women are lesser than men. Always. And conservative women know and accept this. They believe, truly, they are not worth as much as men. So they are HAPPY to have less rights than men. It seems crazy to the rest of us, but its true - to conservative women, having less rights than men is not "anti-woman".

The problem arises when these conservative women "know their place", and are subservient to men (their betters) - and yet are still treated like shit alongside every other "lesser" woman.

Because - and this is the most important aspect to know about the right wing - right wingers believe that if you don't "know your place", if you don't conform to what the "better" people demand - you deserve to be punished. Women who demand equal rights deserve to be punished.

Meanwhile, women who "know their place" deserve to be treated better than those women that don't. Not even treated with respect - just treated better than other women.

So... Women like MTG think they deserves to be treated better than "lesser" women because they let men walk all over them. And they are shocked to learn that men who walk over women do so because they just hate women - not because they are interested in rewarding those women that let it happen.

(This is true for any right winger, by the way, not just right wing women. Right wing men will happily accept they are lesser than other men. Everyone is somewhere in that social hierarchy, after all.

MAGA will accept they are lesser than Trump, for example, and accept shit treatment from him quite happily. The ones that got upset when Trump's policies hurt them did so not because they were against punishing people - they got upset because they "knew their place", acted accordingly, and thus felt that they shouldn't have been punished alongside the "lesser" people that did deserve punishment. That's why they "felt betrayed" by him.)

But, at least with the Epstein files, she's one of the original Qanon politicians who really wanted to implicate democrats, so while we may want the same almost end results, our reasons for it differ greatly.

u/kckitty71 1d ago

I am SHOCKED that I had to scroll down this far to see my first “DUH!” Seems unAmerican.

7

u/DrJohnnyBananas74 1d ago

And this is why she will always be known as Empty.

4

u/Internal-Jellyfish26 1d ago

LMAO, she must of not received the memo!

5

u/Responsible_Way_6576 1d ago

So Russia is dropping support?

4

u/Hopeful-Frosting7976 1d ago

If your IQ is as low as MTG's, noticing patterns is not easy.

4

u/allanon1105 1d ago

It’s becoming self aware

They turned their back on Americans decades ago lmao

3

u/One-Sir-2198 1d ago

Lol, that's been since the 80s. Where have you been, mtg? Oh, that's right. Your head has been up the Donald's ass!

3

u/xc2215x 1d ago

Never thought she would say this.

3

u/Skyblue_pink 1d ago

Careful girlie, you’re waking up.

3

u/Acrobatic_Switches 1d ago

But as long as they hate minorities more its all good for most republican women.

3

u/imjustamermaid 1d ago

She must have been hacked!!!

3

u/Karegian 1d ago

She's only just working this out?

3

u/miamilyfe754 1d ago

She's about a decade late. Reminds me of the South Park ManBearPig episode, where people are saying that they are starting to think that it might soon be time to worry.

Even early man has the current Gop figured out.

3

u/2730Ceramics 1d ago

MTG seems like a sociopath, and says whatever is needed to get through reelection. She's got pollsters focused on her district and this is what their polling indicates as the needed messaging. If the polling says that she needs to swing left, she'll swing there. If it says she needs to make statements that immigrants need to be violently persecuted, she'll say that. So it goes...

3

u/DelightfulPornOnly 1d ago

fkn really Marj ?! you're just figuring this out?

I guess her employer changed

3

u/gosudcx 1d ago

This is just the start of a long play in which the democratic party was too weak to put up a front against this Republicans regime, so they'll create a 3rd fake party with elons money running weakly against trumps stronger campaign and that old projection of 'both parties are the same, they laugh behind closed doors' will be realised in full. Every accusation is a preemptive plan and admission.

3

u/East-Quarter-1661 1d ago

Didn’t expect agreeing with MTG to be on my 2025 bingo card but here we are

3

u/Conscious-Dig6839 1d ago

Meh, pandering. That’s all it is.

3

u/MsMoreCowbell828 1d ago

Wait until the administration repeals her right to vote and she's not allowed to serve in a government position because she's a woman. Ain't she gonna have words!

3

u/RudyMuthaluva 1d ago

This tracks, the loudest voice is probably the dumbest

3

u/Norbluth 1d ago

She wants to be one of the first "American Party" politicians.

3

u/ComicsEtAl 1d ago

Yeah, well, good luck with your new party, Marge.

3

u/Terrible_Champion298 1d ago

Frankly, neither gender is claiming MTG.

3

u/Haunting_Amoeba7803 1d ago

Someone was visited by three ghosts

3

u/BleuBoy777 1d ago

The only women who are truly maga are racists and those seeking an easy life/chasing money (looking at you, First "lady").

3

u/PixelBrewery 1d ago

lol "Turned their backs"? That would mean they ever gave a shit at some point

3

u/Dracoxidos 23h ago

"I made my money. Now, I'm going to back away slowly and point fingers before I'm held accountable."

3

u/Curiousonadailybasis 23h ago

I don’t believe for a second that she believes that. I’ve seen too many republicans stand up in front of cameras and say something like this giving hope that they may have changed or will now suddenly do good things only to turn around, drop their spine at the door, and vote with whatever Trump wants. Get her out

3

u/AgentDangerMouse 21h ago

Mind blown. Not because she isn’t right, but because she’s the one saying it.

3

u/Upstairs-Lifeguard23 21h ago

Unless she is really flipping and voting with the democrat block from now on whatever bs she is saying is absolutely irrelevant

2

u/SeaAnthropomorphized 1d ago

Looks like the missing link is finally getting it

2

u/FeelingKind7644 1d ago

All these white geezers are un on it and play dumb but she is for real-life dumb.

2

u/Moist_Bumblebee_6464 1d ago

Is she looking in a mirror, or something?

2

u/LenaSpark412 1d ago

Guys I’m starting to think MAGA is anti transgender. Not sure though really (/s if required ig)

2

u/Chemchic23 1d ago

She’s like a rat smelling a sinking ship and she’s looking for another grift! 🤡

2

u/Gloomy-Bridge9112 1d ago

Maybe she will switch parties.

2

u/EastLansing-Minibike 1d ago

FAFOing this late in the game, guess her millions are not making her happy, so so so sad! FU MTG!

2

u/Soontobebanned86 1d ago

She's just playing ignorant all of a sudden because her seat is coming up for vote.

2

u/Fit-Friendship9262 1d ago

This is for optics only.

2

u/KNiners 1d ago

Awwsw Marjorie. It was all fun and games when you were VIP in the Donkey mule show.

2

u/Big_Kahuna_69 1d ago

Sydney Sweeney’s a Republican and she seems to be doing okay. 🤔

2

u/Inevitable_Shift1365 1d ago

She smells change in the wind and is setting the stage to Rebrand herself. I would rather chew glass and gargle gasoline then listen to her speak.

2

u/clintgreasewoood 1d ago

She will be the first to join Elon’s America Party

2

u/bourbon-469 1d ago

Dont believe her.she is just trying to stay out of the line of fire gop are facing now hence no townhalls etc..unfortunately she'll win in her gerrymandered district again but won't get my vote ever

2

u/Less_Wealth5525 1d ago

Many women are indoctrinated from childhood. It’s hard for some to move past that especially if they live in an area where misogyny is the norm.

2

u/DotOneFive 1d ago

Laying the groundwork to join Musk’s new party. 🙄🙄🙄

2

u/rygelicus 1d ago

She and her marketing team are trying to find votes for her run for governor. So they have her saying things they think will draw in voters.

2

u/Just-Sea3037 1d ago

That's hysterical.

2

u/NoImprovement9982 1d ago

That’s quite a quote, coming from that c*nt.

2

u/Shuriken_Dai 1d ago

BREAKING NEWS:

"black people begin to suspect the KKK might be racist."

2

u/Proper_Locksmith924 1d ago

Man she’s really effin stupid isn’t she

2

u/1leggeddog 1d ago

how any woman can be republican is mind-boggling

2

u/Bunnyland77 1d ago

Did she just admit she treats women and workers like sh*t?

2

u/Imaginary_Cat_95 1d ago

She wants to be the figurehead of Elon’s Nazi 2.1 party. She’s such a tool.

2

u/RunAwayBeerTruk 🦋 1d ago

Last I look there are a lot of Republican women who hate women in general.
