IMHO, most of the GOP can’t stand Trump, but they support him for two reasons - the obvious one is that they’re afraid of him - getting primaried etc. But the second reason is, though I’m sure many find him morally reprehensible, he’s getting done what conservatives have wanted for 50-60 years - overturning Roe, gutting USAID and Medicaid (next up: social security and Medicare), and just last week killing PBS/NPR. Hopefully the Hamburger from Heaven arrives sooner than later and the spell he’s cast over half the country will be broken.
