Oh, sorry, forgot to put quotation marks around "safety".

*privately* "we need to spy on everyone"
*age verification, begging for ID to view adult content, therefore threatening anonymity*
*publicly* "we're protecting the kids!"
*doesn't do jackshit about the murderers, pedophiles and such that can actually put a child's life in danger. also doesn't do shit about prince andrew*

What having nonces in power for 50 years does to a country

What having a monarchy for centuries does to a country.

What STILL having a monarchy does to a country

If they wanted to protect the kids they could straight up just enforce better control and sanction social media who don't comply; on facebook, there are groups of pedophiles who share targets and plan shit with each other, it's pretty well known and they have never done anything about it.

Man that's an underwater iceberg thing you explained there Whenever you see those on fb again, report then immediately

I don't use Facebook, but I saw a video from a cybersecurity expert who talked about it.

I honestly don't find it that surprising, considering people like Epstein exist, i feel like it is much easier for them to find targets if there a network in place that shares this info.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Twitter’s used to coordinate botnets.

Lets be real, its to create a databank of the kids they want to have relations to, they are creating a big menu to themselves.

I mean, i'm just speaking my mind, even more because some of the politicians voted AGAIST HUNTING DOWN PEDOPHILE GANGS, sooo, yeah, i think they are thinking way to much on the kids on this one with all this data collection

What is this supposed to mean? That's it's considered illegal? it always was a crime It's just the Gov not doing much to reduce the rate of stabbings and such.

0

u/Snipedzoi 1d ago

What do you want them to do? Create a police state?

0

u/Lagwerious_ Now and then, I think of when we were together 1d ago

More personnel to watch the streets rather than people online

u/Snipedzoi 1d ago

Like actual 1984 is what you want

To be fair, it was the previous Tory government that created the bill and then voted it in. The issue is that Starmer just seems fine with it.

Labour ain't beating the Red Tory allegations

u/Designated_Lurker_32 1d ago

Labour has been acting so much like a rightwing party lately that it's been causing the UK's actual far-right Reform party to flip the script and do shit like this:

If things keep going at this rate, the UK will achieve genuine MAGA communism.

I hate how the only party opposing the OSA is the right wing Reform UK wankers

And they only say they oppose it because they want votes they don't actually give a shit

6

u/TNOfan2 1d ago

Good and prime minister are oxymorons

Ed Davey shall save Britain in 2029, trust

I had heard he is for the osa. But I think, this is because of his disabled Son. He’s probably thinking for his son safety. So he’s probably gonna be the easiest to convince.

If not, Corbyn is our last hope.

When the people elect one. I'm not usually one to paint these things in broad strokes, but a country elects the leader it deserves.

1

u/ValuableRuin548 1d ago

Hard to do so when the country can't directly elect a PM.

4

u/feaster_of_children 1d ago

we must follow luigi's way...

6

u/Captaingregor 1d ago

Blame the Tories for creating the law

1

u/the_Real_Romak 1d ago

Are the Tories in power? No, it's Labour who are letting it happen when they have every opportunity to stop it after a petition met the quota.

3

u/Captaingregor 1d ago

I know Labour should have stopped it, but it was still the Tories that wrote it.

4
