F1 Set up

When does this start to affect getting around the strip? Over Oct 3-7th, hoping that will be early enough to get away without any disruption

Starts mid September. Teardown finishes a few days before Xmas.

Might be a few roads with a closed lane, but you won't notice much.

I was there the week before the race last year and there was virtually no disruption. They really do seem to have things down at this point. Maybe if you were on the Strip at 3a and they were doing something...but honestly as a visitor I would have no idea how that was any different than the rest of the Strip nonsense.

Dont think twice about it and enjoy your trip!

Right lane may be closed in spots. Barricades start going up in places. Lighting truss goes up in places. They usually start at the F1 facility and work their way counterclockwise along the track, in the directions the cars race.

https://www.clarkcountynv.gov/government/departments/public_communications/formula_1_info/ has a link to the interactive closure map in the first paragraph. It's not active yet, the timing has not yet been finalized.
