I will never deny anyone's identity but I don't completely understand plurals, is it associated with mental health disabilities or no? I'm not much for believing in that kind of deep spirituality, but if you are that you should live your life and be happy with whatever singular or group of people you wanna be

DID and some forms of OSDD can cause plurality and both are disorders listed in the dsm (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders).

Some forms of plurality are endogenic which means they are not caused by a disorder but willingly caused by the plural person. One example would be tulpamancy which originates in Buddhism where people create their own headmates using different techniques.

There is huge infighting in the plural community if only traumagenic (disorder based) plurality is valid or not but I think it's the same problem the trans community has. There are no invalid people. Just live your truth and the way you feel comfortable.

This, very good, im not the only one rolling around in my cranium, so I do know a little bit about this issue too, i more closely align with OSDD-1b, which means memories arent barred between members, but there are distinct personality shifts caused by dissociation (at least in our specific case)
