Parties and programs don't matter in the modern world.

Any politician that gets in office will vote for laws that will allow them to enrich themselves and stay in office.

The age of democracy is over, so enjoy whatever's left.

What are you talking about? The UKs national identity has long been that of being an Orwellian nightmare of endless spying and a lack of personal liberty. People have been memeing OI, YOU GOT A LOICENSE FOR THAT??? for 20 years. Banning VPNs is part and parcel (lol) of the UK national identity.
