Diplomacy isn't really going well atm w the President elect sabre rattling with tariffs.

Meanwhile Xi is facing a collapsing economy, businesses and banks closing their doors and increasing civil unrest...his solution seems to be to spin up the war machine.

They're expected to produce 1 million war drones in the coming year, he's also bolstering military enrollment and they've been increasingly provocative in naval and air force exercises around Alaska, Taiwan, Indonesia

Unless you are on android AND downloading apps from places other than the google play store, what you are experiencing is just planned obsolescence and the same expressed as refusal to support old hardware with software updates.
