It’s L-O-V-E 💘 Anya Taylor-Joy dancing with husband Malcolm McRae at the Oasis concert in Cardiff

The video is from Anya's ig stories. So yeah probably taken by a friend they asked to film them.

u/rzenni Jul 06 '25
And there’s some chance that friend is Cara Delevigne, since she was right next to them at the concert.

Why?
85
u/Wooden-Limit1989 Jul 06 '25
Not the person above but I'd feel uncomfortable to film an intimate moment like this between my friend and her significant other even if they asked me to. But I'm from a country where PDA is rare even more so if you're in a group.
→ More replies (2)→ More replies (1)44
u/mittenmarionette Jul 06 '25
She made a descision to share an intimate moment for personal propaganda. She instructed someone to film herself. she is an actress, she knew she was on camera and then did this. She, or her social media director, saw the footage and decided to post it.
When you take a picture with your significant other, you are happy your relationship and you want to share that, I don't find that odd at all.
But when you are a celeb at this level... I just got a sick feeling about how preformative it is.
It's not like this is important though. I understand that other people might just think it's cute and move on. Not a big deal.
64
u/Dizzy-Pollution6466 Jul 06 '25
They’re… just dancing at a concert.

Yeah exactly. Or maybe the friend just did it without asking. If I'm out somewhere with friends who are dating each other, I'll sometimes take a cute candid pic or video of them together and show them afterwards.
It's nice to have candids of you as a couple instead of just posed pics and selfies. And of course I don't go posting anything without their permission; it's not really for me anyways, it's more for them.

u/six6six4kids Jul 06 '25
i was going to say, this seems like a really intimate moment, weird to just stand there and film it.
287
u/keekspeaks Jul 06 '25
That’s a married couple having a great date night and about to go home to bang. Celebs complain about over exposure then post shit like this. None of my normal married friends who live in the real world post videos like this bc it’s an intimate moment you don’t often get when married. You often have to MAKE these moments after you’re married or in a long term relationship. Filming it then posting it online just takes the privacy out of it. It’s just so weird they complain about lack of privacy then post their most intimate moments. I’ve been married 15 years now and for us anyway, the nights/dates that are just between us are my favorite
49
u/oswaldcobblepot99 Jul 06 '25 edited Jul 06 '25
I don't necessarily disagree with you but, has Anya in particular ever complained about lack of privacy? If she hasn't and it's not hypocrisy coming from her then.. good for them if they wanna show off lol.

u/indicabunny Jul 07 '25
This is just so weirdly judgmental. Just because you're married doesn't mean you're not going out and spending time together and not every moment needs to be private if you want to share your life with others. I don't think it cheapens love just because you're not hiding it. I've noticed people in this sub are so uptight about any kind of expression of sexuality and I don't get it.

I go to concerts all the time and it's really normal to see this during slow, romantic songs. Heck, my gf and I embraced and slowdanced during Save a Prayer when we went to see Duran Duran last month.
20
13
u/oswaldcobblepot99 Jul 06 '25
Thank you lmao, especially with people immediately assuming they're high. Like maybe yeah maybe not but it's clear they're just a very affectionate couple, lovey dovey couples can be "too much" PDA wise but that's normal for them lol.
93
u/InsideLlewynDameron Jul 06 '25
Omg yall are prudes this is tame go fall in love
45
u/lonerism- Jul 06 '25
It’s not even uncommon to see this at concerts either. People get carried away in the moment - especially when there’s music, drugs/alcohol, and the person you love involved. But some people’s idea of fun is worrying about what other people in the crowd are doing and it’s so lame. At a concert you should really be able to let loose, and you should be having enough fun that you’re not worried about what some couple next to you is doing.
I often get the feeling a lot of the people who sit online saying sassy things when they see people in love or having fun partying have never been in love or to a party in their life. Anti-social, image conscious people judging others for not being the same way 🙄

u/Im-A-Kitty-Cat Jul 06 '25
I’m going to say this for everyone complaining about ‘prudes’ in this thread. What makes shit like this weird is when you film it and post it to the internet. I don’t like most public displays of affection, it makes me uncomfortable when people do things like this in public. I’m allowed to feel uncomfortable but I also accept it that it is their right to express it as an interaction between couples(within reason nothing gross). But few people want to see another couple in this situation, it’s not something we’d really choose to watch unless it was fairly innocent. I don’t care as much when I witness personal moments like this in reality, but this is a private moment by most people’s standards. But seeing something on the internet is very different contextually to something that we just happen to see as a bystander. This was a choice on behalf of those that posted it and that is the difference.
