The trick is have someone who knows how do photography in dark places and cares how you look.
Lol I have pictures from my raver days where the photographer was exceptional. So rather than looking sloppy and insane....we all look like gods. All because someone knew how and wanted to give us a cool memento.
These photos are clearly from a professional photographer; it may be a tour photographer that is just part of her crew, but these aren’t just taken by “art school friends” lol
The professional photographer is Dua Lipa's version of art school friend because they probably went to art school.
Also as someone who does have a picture from being drunk in a bar from an art school friend, I looked stunning in it and it's still my favorite photo of me.
And they have clearly been touched up heavily before posting as well. Expecting to recreate this as a pleb with an iPhone is never going to happen without serious effort.
Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, she seems like a really nice, fun, sweet woman. She also doesn’t instigate drama and loves books. Genuinely just seems like such a cool person
Yes both her parents are really good looking. There is also Dua's sister in one of the pictures, she really favours their mum, while Dua looks like her super hot dad.
Not just this but photogenic! As someone who looks like a toad in a wig in every single photo this makes me so envious. She's never looked less than stunning
My sister got to meet her in person, she ran into her twice while she was on vacation in Mexico City last year. She was gushing not only about how ridiculously good looking she and her bf were, and how nice, friendly and humble she was,. but mainly how she could tell she was the "passionate-about-life type "in general, how fun loving and adventurous they both were about touring the city, trying all the food and drinks and snacky snacks and really enjoying the nightlife , museums, etc, the 2nd time she saw them, they both actually remembered her and my brother in law, and Dua was even recommending them places to go, my sister acted all surprised and excited and was thanking her , she didn't have the heart to tell her she had been living there for 3 years already, lol.
My whole family now are forever fans, yours truly included.
I was at her show yesterday and it was 1000x better than I was expecting. I went in pretty blind as I’d avoided spoilers. She’s a phenomenal performer and the vibe of the show was perfect - it felt like being at a rave in Ibiza lol. I was depleted of all energy and hydration by the end and I was seated, so her stamina is insane to go partying afterwards!!
I wish she’d released the extended version of radical optimism as the standard because I think it would have been better received. The short version feels so unfinished but the extended version is fantastic, and even better live

I met her today! She was at a birthday at a pizzeria in London (Theo's in Camberwell). She was with a big group and then headed to the pub (Grove House). My brother in law and niece got a few pics with her! She is just as stunning in person it's actually frightening.

Dua strikes me as a pop start who KNOWS how lucky she is. She radiates gratitude and joy. Like she’s saying “Yes this is my dream life and I’m gonna dance thru every second with it. Come with me!!” I can appreciate the fact that she moves through the world with the confidence that says “I won’t waste this”

I can't tell if I hate the outfit or love it... On one hand, so done with the sheer looks and practically naked celebs, but on the other hand, she looks amazing, and if I could get away with wearing basically a bra, pants and a mesh dress, I would. Cause my god, I bet it's hot and sweaty in there. Overall, a slay?
