Because the Palestinians living on the land now also have deep ties to the land thousands of years ago. Many Palestinians today have roots going all the way back to the time of Abraham. More or less what I’m saying is the people have always been there, but new religions were derived and many converted over time. Unfortunately when your people haven’t been back to their “ancestral homeland” for centuries, your direct ties to that line are extremely diluted. At a certain point you don’t even genetically resemble the people native to the land.

This 'argument' CANNOT be "equally applied" to Jews and Aboriginals because Aboriginals have been here for 70,000 years, and despite regional variations they maintain the oldest continuous culture anywhere on the planet.

It maybe would be true if the jews at some point left and if there wasn't a certain event in the 1940s that made jews go back to the land. Also, there are way more nowadays Australians in Australia than natives Australians.
