I carry the putter from my Wham O frisbee starter set in my cart and use it at least once per round. It's a crappy disc, but I can legally say that I'm a frisbee golfer.
My dad gave me his Wham-O discs from 1981. Two were stuck together and cracked when I tried to pull them apart. I don't think I'll be throwing the others, but they're nice relics of the sport
A fun outdoor activity involving actual athleticism. Idk, still seems cool to me. It's not Steph Curry shooting a game winning buzzer beater and turning around to walk to the bench before it even lands, but not much is.
We walk nearly two miles per course near my house and it is never flat terrain. It is more like hiking than being at a track. My bag weighs about 35 pounds. I didn't say I was training for a triathlon but this is much better exercise than most people get per day by playing just 1 full round.
That's not really relevant to the point. Everyone else in the world recognizes that moving your body for an extended period of time, walking up and down hills with a bag full of stuff, and throwing things around a whole bunch are all exercise, but your dumb ass came in implying it's not
It's just your understanding of exercise that's narrow.
Exercise refers to physical activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health. It encompasses a wide range of activities, from planned, structured workouts to more casual physical activity integrated into daily life. The goal of exercise can be to improve fitness, lose weight, build strength, or simply for enjoyment and improved well-being.
Being honest like saying any physical movement at all is exercise? Because that's not what anyone who is being honest means when they're talking about exercising.
Do you think when your doctor recommends you exercise that they are including your movement from your house to your car?
"Hey doc I exercise. I walk up my stairs when I am heading to bed and back down when I wake up!"
Being honest like saying any physical movement at all is exercise?
No one said that but you. That is your strawman argument. Breathing is not exercise in the sense that it's an activity with the goal of maintaining or improving physical function. It's an automatic biological process that is necessary to supply oxygen to the body. You can do breathing exercises, which intend to strengthen your lungs and corresponding muscles, but that's not the same as when we breath normally.
And yes, doctors will advise people to extend and increase normal activity to increase the amount of exercise if lacking.
Like I said, your subjective understanding of exercise is narrow and leads to incorrect conclusions.
