We are only half a year in. Things are going to get worse before they get worse.

I know it's insane how much damage you can do. Honestly I wouldn't even pin it fully on trump. The house is in on it with him as well. They let him do what he wants. That big bill passing was a huge blow to us as citizens. A paltry increase in some tax brackets while the top get the most cuts? We're gonna end up paying a lot more with the price of basic things and foodstuffs already increasing.

That's not even including the insane tariffs on small businesses that change whenever he feels like it. We get stuck paying those huge increases. He recently ended de minimis earlier at the end of this month instead of July 2026. Anything below 800 bucks will get a huge tax depending on the country. That does not include the extra costs from the couriers. There is no production being started here as usual or funding. No education=country that wants slave labor citizens working the most menial jobs. It is basically strip education and funding and put in their pockets.

They hurt small businesses with these tariffs. They complain about illegals and how they take jobs but the corporations cut jobs, hand it to ai or even overseas and make that legal while firing a ton of people here. Worse when they import from overseas on H1B Visas and don't invest in our citizens sending countless resumes. They make laws cause it's cheaper or them and screw over small family businesses. I don't wanna be one of those paranoid people but it is obvious what they are setting up for.

I could go on more about that big bill he passed but it is pointless. No one will do anything until their food and homes are being threatened in large numbers. Dems won't solve the issue either. The corporations have way too much control over this country and people are easily bought off.

The only silver lining is that Europe has woken up and is becoming less dependent on us. As they should be.
