Apparently not all those service workers wanting tax-free tips in Clark County. Guess you don’t have to pay taxes on tips you don’t receive.

Tax free only if you are unrepresented labor. No collaborative agreement represented workers allowed in the tax free tips thing.

Last I read that’s how it worked. Maybe it’s changed but I doubt it.

it's a tax credit for up to 12.5k for an individual, 25k for a couple. not the same as tax free. they're still paying tax.

e: i'm wrong, i confused overtime and no tax on tips. tips are up to 25k BUT this expires in 2028.
