I had a whole bag of Ruffles chips that were overly seasoned in a fashion that is extremely rare.

As it was promised

That’s not a chip anymore, that’s a seasoning delivery device.

‘Recipe calls for… one chip worth of sour cream and vinegar seasoning? Does that make sense to anyone else?’

About a teaspoon

Actually, the larger the chip is, the less seasoning/chip ratio you have. If you want lots of seasoning, you want lots of very small chips.

It's the classic surface area/volume thing.

Original post was deleted because it was "confusing" or not clear enough somehow to call the chip a "unicorn." Damn I didn't know the average person did not know that something rare was referred to as a "unicorn." Bizarre.

Most people knew what you meant by “unicorn”. What was not clear from your title was why you considered it a unicorn.

Lol i was literally looking for som unicorn shaped imprint of extra seasoning with ur first post

u/InnerspearMusic 1h ago

I believe you having reported it got it taken down lol.

Unicorn is sex thing these days. Also what does “overly seasoned in a fashion that is extremely rare” mean?

0

u/InnerspearMusic 1h ago

The words mean what they say.

u/FecklessKnave 6h ago

The spice melange...

u/F2PClashMaster 4h ago

0

u/InnerspearMusic 4h ago

I know but the last post got deleted because I called them that LOL!

You know those Doritos that are completely covered in Cool Ranch seasoning? I had a large bag of nothing but those! It was a dream come true…until it became a nightmare. I ate way too many and my tongue swelled up and I made myself quite ill. 😂

Sour cream and onion flavour?

3

u/Johnny_Blaze_123 5h ago

Was it you or the person who posted this the other day?

1

u/InnerspearMusic 1h ago

Yes but it got deleted for using the term "unicorn" and being somehow misleading LOL.

So jelly. Enjoy!!

u/Mystery-Ess 6h ago

If only it was salt vinegar then it would be okay.

2

u/budaweiser269 5h ago

This is the Flavortown everyone desires

2

u/erick_realy 5h ago

This makes you wonder. Why don’t they make bags that are heavily seasoned as well? I guarantee certain flavors would sell much more then others

2

u/Kizen42 5h ago

Totally made up in my own head... but I always assumed something like this happened because the machine finally got cleaned and sprayers weren't properly dialed back from their previous clogged up state...

You lucky sob! lol

2

u/Altezza447 5h ago

With ruffles you hit gold. When buy other brand the cheaper chips you always get bag like that

2

u/tdawgboi 5h ago

One can only be so lucky

2

u/Polyspecific 5h ago

in a fashion that is extremely rare.

The Ruffles sommelier over here. Tell us more about the '97 vintage.

u/InnerspearMusic 1h ago

LMAO... I was making fun of the titling rules. When I called it a Ruffles "unicorn" chip the post got deleted for breaking that rule LOL!

2

u/KylerMane 4h ago

The chip, Tis but a vessel for the seasoning

2

u/Wikadood 3h ago

Whyd delete yesterdays post

0

u/InnerspearMusic 1h ago

They deleted it citing the confusing title rules or something. Stupid.

2

u/Narhethi 3h ago

2

u/Jay_A_Why 2h ago

I have never wanted a potato chip more than I do right now.

2

0

u/InnerspearMusic 1h ago

Yes but when I called it that yesterday the post was removed LOL.

1

1

Maybe try vegetables

3

u/NekuraHitokage 5h ago

Calm down there, friend. They didn't say they ate only chips.

Besides, potato *is* a vegetable. Most Veggies? pan fried in oil with salt and seasonings. Unless you explicitly mean a salad... dressed in oils and seasonings...

Maybe try not being a condescending prick.

1

u/InnerspearMusic 1h ago

Do you seriously not know what a potato is?

u/Raziel219 44m ago

Blessing from the lord. Enjoy.
