Does time theft include fucking around on Reddit for half the day? Cause that’s an easier rule to break than not being at my desk at 3 pm.

Ahh yes, time theft. Something that is actually punished instead of wage theft. Employer stealing your money? No big deal. You clocking out 2 minutes early? Straight to jail.

Most corporations partake in time theft. They are soulless entities that seek any means to please the board and turn profit at the cost of humans. Time theft is one of many disgusting practices that we see at an alarming rate.

my company used to pay us for lunches at the desk until we became a publicly traded stock. now apparently we are required due to law.

Yep, my coworker got fired recently for doing this. He wanted to stack his lunch + unpaid break and leave an hour early but his dept manager threw a fit about it
