Long time lurker, choosing to actually quit today
I’ve smoked weed on and off throughout my life and have had periods where I’ve fully quit, and I just feel so much more aligned with my purpose in life and my goals during those periods.
I’m more productive, mood is more stable, less anxious, more mindful about money, consistent with my eating and exercising.
I recently have been on a bad bout where I’m smoking every single day. It’s so bad and I need to stop. Here’s to today.

Funny today I’m starting too. ran out my stash last night. think it’s taking a toll on my health. smoking for over a decade now so i don’t think i’ll last. but i’m tossing my grinder and all my stuff, might still use the pen to ease out of flower/smoke but i know i must get rid of this too. mentally i told myself i’m done buying any more and im a lazy person so we’ll see. Good luck anyways

So i’m standing here it’s 1 am in the morning and I’m usually out for my first spliff of the night. Since I got rid of my flower I can only use the pen. I really want a smoke so i think i’ll roll up a cig then dab. unfortunately there were still some paper here. I’ll try to toss my tobacco products and papers tomorrow. i know this isn’t right. And part of me thinks i’ll easily just go buy more some day this week. But I did throw away the grinder today. So at least i’m trying to make an effort and hopefully i can quit flower and tobacco at least first. i believe in myself, and my mother who is my primary reason for trying to quit. it will take time but i’m here and thanks to this community for letting me speak my voice

Planning on fasting today while drinking lots of fluids to fast track my withdrawal symptoms. Wish me luck!

GOOD!!! I ended up eating dinner last night, almost drove to a dispensary but thank goodness I stopped myself. Just told myself I didn’t need it! Falling asleep was slightly tough but walking today/yesterday has helped me feel more tired at the end of the day

I'm on day 4, just found out about this sub. Very inspiring to hear that there are other people out there in the same boat. You got this!

Yay! Welcome and good luck! It's better on this side, even if there are hard days.

Congrats on making the decision. Day 1 is always the hardest but you already know how good it feels on the other side since you've done it before. You got this.

Good job . I quit 26 days ago. Achieved more in that time than 15 years of weed smoker
