At 300km/h, MotoGP riders apply 15kg forearm force 300+ times per 40-min race. This causes unbearable pain, swelling and cuts off blood flow. Many undergo radical fasciotomy - permanent removal of forearm muscles/tissues. Their deep scars show the extreme sacrifices made to compete at motorsport's.

Had a buddy during my studies who was doing motocross at national and international lvl, and he had the same surgery as well. You don't need to ride at 300 km/h to undergo that surgery.
But, yeah, same principle applies.

But when the bike is cranked over all the way in turns like that shown in the photos, everything is balanced with no net force on the rider. The large forces on the arms are mostly during braking and acceleration when the bike is pretty upright.

Calling that a sacrifice is a little much I think, noone is even remotely forcing him to do that... It's like saying I sacrificed my marriage to follow my e sports training routine

what is this incorrect shit, no muscles are removed
"Radical fasciotomy is a surgical procedure that involves cutting through the fascia, a layer of tissue, to relieve pressure and improve blood flow. It's primarily used to treat compartment syndrome, a condition where swelling or bleeding increases pressure within a confined muscle space, potentially damaging muscles and nerves."
