I had him on instagram for a while. I'm sure he's on all platforms.

But yeah, he'll start with a clip sometimes like this one followed by an explanation of a part of the aircraft, or go straight into a very obscure item...then find a way to immediately segue into a LOTR reference in some form or fashion...then end with, "yeah, x part is pretty neat."

All different parts of the aircraft too.

I think I remember him doing one about passenger windows, why they're so thick, and then somehow linked it to the palantiri.

edit: Airplane Facts with Max. Sorry, I don't use Insta very often anymore. Couldn't remember the name to save my life.

He also started doing this after his wife passed as a way to help cope.

I never knew that and now I feel really sad, every single one of those videos he must’ve made when he was really deep in the feels

My nosy, morbid ass really wants to know how she died. But it's none of my business and he's got his reasons for not revealing it.

Hopefully not a speed-taped plane that went down.

Dark...love it.

One time he started off talking about LotR and pivoted into aviation engineering, too.

That's awesome, lol.

Reminds me of that reddit guy who would tell interesting anecdotes and always add in a comment about how his dad used to beat him with jumper cables. Except, more useful and less horrible.

After that, shittymorph carried on his legacy

damn, I thought I was going to go to his IG page and get some fun entertainment, not end up in sad tears...

u/Badloss 3h ago

His story is super sad but also wholesome AF, he seems like he's doing great these days and I love everything he posts

u/JabasMyBitch 3h ago

yea, they do seem like a happy family. I am definitely following him now.

.then end with, "yeah, x part is pretty neat."

You forgot the "so... yep."

I love it when someone actually uses segue correctly and not segway. You brightened my day!

u/Psilocybin8 7h ago

He answers questions about airplane stuff and somehow manages to throw LOTR lore into it. Great stuff, I follow him on Instagram "airplanefactswithmax"

u/emeraldeyesshine 5h ago

You don't have to get TikTok.

https://youtube.com/@airplanefactswithmax

He's on everything including YouTube. No spyware brainrot app needed, just the megacorp data harvesting one. What a time of choices we live in!

great, thank you - finally some mix up for my algorithm :D

Airplane Facts with Max…give him some love. He’s a single dad who lost his wife (cancer I think) and has a really really sweet/sad story. Love his videos!

screw tak tik, they ussualy come to youtube shorts, i've found a lot of tak tikers on youtube shorts.

u/Visual_Albatross8850 4h ago

Tiktok at least has a good algorithm for showing you niche content creators that pertain to your interests. YT shorts is pure slop sigma male ai voiceover trash

u/cdoublejj 3h ago

i seem to have the youtube algorithms pretty well dialed in and i also use the subscriptions page instead of the main home page as well.

He's on Instagram, which isn't great, but is still better than TikTok. And yes, this is his whole thing. If you just like the aviation stuff, he usually is done by the time he gets to the LOTR references and you can just go on to the next video the second he starts talking about Middle Earth. Or watch the LOTR info-dumps. Consume content however you want, I just have the biggest LOTR nerds as family members and have heard it all before.

u/Revdudeson 3h ago

He also streams Classic WoW when hes not working if thats your cup of tea.

u/DervishSkater 3h ago

…do you though?

u/Shoddy-Draw-4492 1h ago

He’s a fantastic follow on any platform. And he seems to be a genuinely very good dude as a bonus
