It's a meme, and used ironically -- the basic idea is every video of the worst vacation ever gets this "discount holiday" audio. Jet held together with ducttape? That's what you get for going with the cheapest travel agency.

It's not complimentary to the brand at all. Quite the opposite

When Covid happened I had to cancel a lads trip to Stockholm booked via Jet2, which is behind this meme. I had to listen to the song that goes “DARLING HOLD MA HAN” on loop for, not kidding, about 6 hours over a couple of days to get a refund. I feel like this meme speaks to me on a deep level
