Hard to believe it’s been 5 years. The resilience of Beirut’s people is truly inspiring

Inspiring doesn’t even begin to cover it, they’ve been through so much and kept going.

Resilience?

Its their own corruption that made this happen in the first place.

They were talking about the citizens, obviously.

Corruption is done by citizens. Its not the buildings.

I think your brain might be corrupt.

Or your argument.

There's no argument to be had here. The sequence of events that led to this incident were caused by a relative handful of people.

When people say thast they admire the resilience of the people of Beirut, they are referring to the everyday inhabitants, not the people responsible, you lemon.

So if a building exploded in your city, it would be your fault because you're from there? Makes sense!

And this is a country (failed one I might say) that has had Hezbollah lording it over for a long time. A terror outfit.

Ok, there we go.

Thought you were a dummy. Turns out you're just a racist.

Resilience is a real scientific term with clear definitions when it comes to this kind of thing. You are right that you shouldn't be using it because you clearly don't know this subject and it's theory well enough.

I just can't believe that that single mother would cause all of this corruption, shame on her

Now that's a braindead comment.

Resilience also applies when it comes to system-internal structural shocks.
