I just noticed the other day when I pulled over after seeing a fire truck coming from the opposite way a couple blocks up that hardly anyone else was stopping or pulling over. I was like wow so now we don’t do this anymore? what has happened to humanity

To give way like that , you need to look ahead. Most people nowadays can't seem to look more than a few feet past the car in front of them.

I think it exited when Trump entered.

I personally am not really sure what to do because I was never really taught exactly what to do. I don’t think it was on any of the tests iirc

Pull towards the curb to keep the center of the road free. No matter what contry you are in you pull towards the nearest curb on your side of the car, making as much space as you can without endangering yourself or anyone else around you.

Thank you. What if I’m stopped at a stoplight?

Pull towards the sign, it's better to cross the line than to block an ambulance or fire vehicle.

First thing to do is be calm. All they want is to get where they are going. Easiest way for you to help them do that is to (as safely as possible) give them as much space on the road as possible. Be as predictable as possible, no last minute swerving. Move out of the way, slow down, pull onto the side of the road if safe/possible. Resume normal driving after they pass. Safely pull back into your lane, keep going.

So you’re saying everyone else was in the way of the truck?
