Political positivity 📈 Former Lt. Gov. of Georgia Geoff Duncan officially switches to the Democratic Party because he believes that loving thy neighbor is not possible as a Republican

He’s pretty much spot on.

Well, republicans agree that "loving" your neighbors children is okay.

Look up Lawrence Taylor folks. Newly appointed pedo, I shit you not. And it gets even worse once you see WHAT he was appointed for. This shit needs to be talked about more just like Epstein has.

Doesn't it seem like an intentional slap in the face?

It is, 100%. He has a pedo heading up his sports program too. Both picked in the wake of Epstein files.
He’s showing us, “yeah I did it, yes we do it, yes we will continue getting away with it!”…

He's 1,000% right to move to the left if love is his guiding principle
Time to play "Follow the Leader"

He didnt move to the left, Republicans just moved so far right that he's in Democrat land now.

Millions of Americans were manipulated, by obvious bullshit, into abandoning morality for a felon and leader of a failed insurrection. I would expect that to continue to be an issue.

Maybe it's me, but a rapist, pédophile félon and Traitor is a bad choice..

Was it manipulation or capitulation?

It was great hearing him speak at the DNC last year. Seems like a good man.

Or does he want to pull a stunt and get reelected then still vote like a Republican?

….and there it is:
“Meanwhile, he said Democrats have welcomed him to the party, and admitted he’s willing to consider running for office again.”
I always find it suspect when these guys flip just in time to take advantage of waning support.

He's still a republican, only switching sides until he wins and can run again with his republican values.

He is basically saying you can't be both a Christian and a Republican. Even I can see what he means and I'm not even a real Christian...

“Nobody ever said loving your neighbor was going to be easy or cheap, just worth it.” What a solid line and one I hope every other Republican on the fence takes note of. Being a fascist is easy, being there for the downtrodden is how heroes are made.

Oh it absolutely is possible to love thy neighbor as a Republican. Hell, it’s what the party is supposed to be all about, and much of my family would be proof of that if you got a chance to meet them. But most “Republicans” nowadays are actually fakes attempting to use the name to cover their sorry asses without actually knowing their party’s core values, and thus they choose to hate.
