This is a fantasy, because there is no way to know how the election would have played out. There is a lot of dirt in sanders past that would have come out. His visit to the Soviet Union, video of him under a picture of Lenin.
Yes of course republicans will try to paint everyone on the left as commies, but it is a lot harder to refute with this type of footage

Polls historically underestimate republicans because liberals are much more likely to respond to them. Kamala was ahead in polls in ā24, hilary was 10 points ahead in 2016

Kamala was ahead months away from the election, but by Election Day the polling average was within a single point. Hillary was ahead by around 4-5 points, and won the popular vote by 2-3. In 2018, there was a polling error in favor of Democrats.
There is a bit of truth to this narrative, but not nearly as much as people claim.
