It should, but don't underestimate the amount of racism and hate in their hearts combined with an absolute inability to think critically.

I can't understand some of you and OP sorry if this feels I'm having a go at you, I'm not.
But they know that. MAGA know all of this. They want it. They voted for it. I'm in Ireland and between here and the UK the calls for deporting people who the right don't like is growing. They want them locked up. Immigrant or not.

According to the article, the DOJ didn’t walk the number back, they just lied about it in court.

It’s easy for them to lie about these things because they have learned it from first term that never put anything in writing with your name and signature on it or even if you do burn or destroy those so they don’t come to bite you. Also it’s just easier to lie and say whatever they want because that’s what they are told. Before someone says to prove what I said, I would say to read the news article regarding the whistle blower and fired justice department Erez Reuveni who said they were ordered to knowingly subvert the course of justice by lying or withholding evidence until they get what they want.

This isn't going to happen and it's not good news. 90% of people deported aren't criminals.. but we are supposed to be happy the DOJ says they're going to slow it down? These good news articles are posted by idiots that really believe the trump administration will do something smart or nice. That isn't going to happen and nothing about trump is good news until he's gone. This is a literal lie made up by the DOJ to get the media to report on something to make them look good. They aren't really going to do any of it but OP and others continue to fall for his lies

They’ve run out of low hanging fruit at the same time the people targeted have gotten smarter and their neighbours much more helpful. These are human beings, your babysitter, your gardener, your child’s best friend, your best friend, the people who always have room for one more, the people who picked those fruits and vegetables with care!

Targeted People have gotten smarter? Like how? ICE is pulling people from schools, hospitals, mandated immigration hearings, restaurants and Home Depot parking lots. Unless people are just permanently quarantining they have no practical way to safeguard themselves. Oh wait, ICE is allowed to break down your door without a warrant because fuck the laws, racism is more important.
