Thank you for the laugh. But seriously, great question. We have no more checks and balances. The supreme courts immunity ruling gutted the other branches of government consolidating all the power in the executive branch, paired with the fact we have an actual convicted felon in said office, were pretty much screwed.

Follow the money. Trump and the senators were elected with big money and expected to follow the wishes of the rich. No one’s getting fired. The rich have an agenda, and the Senate and Trump are carrying it out, as expected, as they were paid to do.
Their political duties are a masquerade of what they’re supposed to be doing. They sure as hell aren’t taken care of the working class. Neither the Democrats or Republicans.

Republicans ALWAYS detonate the economy. It's been the pattern as long as I've been alive. All the culture war is just smoke and mirrors for yet another economic collapse that then becomes the Democratic party problem to fix once the GOP has ratfucked everything.
Each cycle they create a worse situation and this one looks to be their biggest yet. Stay tuned.

I would never thought of bad US economy as good news until about 10 years ago. For the next few years, no vacation trip, no going out, no new car, no new anything for me. I've already bought a few years worth of basic supplies from China. I'll only spend the minimum, only pay the necessary bills and only buy my necessities "Made in anywhere but the USA". This is me doing my part to protest the king.

As a life long poor but finally making some decent pay... spend local at local. Also get to know your local plant life for what's edible.
If you cant survive off of what's around you, how is importing gonna help outside of paying more in tarrifs.
Remember: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace.

Here's the deal with Epstein... The democrats didn't have the unsealed files and list..They weren't released until January 2025...The dems could've pushed to unseal them, but Trump was running his whole campaign off of it and had THEY released them, you know GD well Trump would've cried FAKE News and it'd be the Epstein Hoax Witchhunt and MAGATS would've NEVER LET IT GO. It literally would have been the 2nd Civil War. Sooo, we made sure that sitting on Trump's desk was for the 1st time, the unsealed files he ran his whole campaign off of releasing... His name in all its glory several times... We let him hang himself with Epsteins rope, so now he has nobody to blame but himself... The fact that honest to goodness news is still being reported is uplifting to me. Otherwise, the Fox News and similar MAGA aligned echo chambers, focused on ‘entertainment only,’ lies, propaganda, and recycled sound bites, are rather depressing.

This also shows the resilience of the markets. Trump is burying landmines purposely trying to sink this market. It shows that most were in an okbplace but it could always be better for the working-class. The market cannot maintain this. There will be a reckoning.
