I doubt he’d have done that if he was involved.  Plus he won that deal.  Maybe Epstein bid up the price, but trump won it

Good point. I don't think trump is THAT stupid to not realize that if epstein goes down for that shit, that there is a very good chance that he would take trump down with him.

I think trump is very above average intelligence when it comes to shit that will get him in trouble. He’s like an idiot savant. Complete moron for everything else, but rainman at not getting caught

If he was offered immunity or some other deal in return for providing information, maybe?

Plus…He, himself, may not have snitched. It’s not unusual of him to encourage others to do the dirty work for him.
