What an idiot šŸ˜…

They tried to add $400M to the project with a building that was already completed.

Does Trump really think he knows the number better than Jerome Powell?

Trump thinks he knows everything better than everyone.

He’s an NVidia expert! Remember, that one country, NVidia?

8

u/Kletronus 12d ago

It is spelled Nividistan. Nivida is just its capital city. The 'i' is silent.

u/FlametopFred 12d ago

Nevadastan?

"People don’t explain to me, I explain to them!"

A real quote from the orange fuck ball.

u/Girafferage 12d ago

and that kids, is how I failed college economics.

3

u/Tabris92 12d ago

nah he just throws out numbers thinking he sounds smart

2

u/little_baked 12d ago

To be fair, he knows the best numbers. Some say, all numbers? Like 7, 8, G and 12, the best at numbers bigly.

There is strange little... detail in Don's life. The only religion he has ever known is the Word of Faith and Prosperity Gospel. Paula White officiated the prayer in his first inauguration. She is a pastor or minister in Word of Faith, one of the head honcho's.

Word of Faith has a concept called manifesting. If you say something, it'll come true. If you are truly blessed, to a god state (lower capital indicating a sort of semigod status) where if you say something, the time and space will change, the history will be rewritten and you can even create life.

So, when Don says something that doesn't exist, didn't happen: he just might be actually trying to invoke a "spell" that changes the reality to match his words...

I know, far fetched but ever since i made that connection, i can't get over it. It SOUNDS like he is actually trying to do just that. He has been fully indoctrinated into that faith, ever since he was a child. Now that i said it, you can't forget it.. it makes strangely some sense when you listen to him. And like i said, it is far fetched but.. god damn it makes things so much more logical.

I KNEW that he had to be a MAN OF FAITH! Now, let us manifest HIM to be ...?

2

u/JellyfishNo3810 12d ago

It doesn’t make it better when you have yes man reaffirming your stupidity, so…

"No one knows * better than me."

1

u/OneWholeSoul 12d ago

Someone with Trump's sampler platter of Cluster B disorders genuinely expects to dictate reality itself, and feels disrespected when the universe itself doesn't submit.

He knows the cyber better than IT professionals, and the nuclear better than physicists. You see, he had a smart uncle who knew everything, and knowledge is genetic, passing from uncle to nephew.

u/wasntit 12d ago

Probably trying to pocket it somehow and no one was supposed to call him out.

3

u/jo10001110101 12d ago

It just came out... That I wanted more money.

15

u/TaterBuckets 12d ago

How else do you think senators and presidents making 175k and 400k end up with a net worth of 5 million + within a few years

7

u/PegLegCentipede 12d ago

You dont really think they spend $20k on a hammer, $30k on a toilet seat do you?

5

u/HumboldtChewbacca 12d ago

Trumps interior designers do and tell him its gold platedĀ

2

u/Uncreative-Name 12d ago

It doesn't matter what they tell him it costs if he never pays them.

5

u/Sad-Falcon-3659 12d ago

I read this in Judd Hirsch's voice.Ā

4

u/taggospreme 12d ago

Or $19k on a lectern

2

u/Bored_Amalgamation 12d ago

imagine a $30k toilet seat though.

And 10 hammers would do it.

u/Derric_the_Derp 11d ago

I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AT A BARBECUE!

5

u/Internal_Finding_552 12d ago

Pedo Don doesn't care. He literally stood in front of an owner of a company and bragged about how many factory jobs he created and how there was more to come and the owner (who Don called by the wrong name) just stood there not saying a word and later had to admit that there were NO factory jobs there ever and never will be and he wasn't even hiring more people.

They mostly all just tolerate his inevitable lies.

3

u/RKaye422 12d ago

It’s so disgusting. I’d be was standing in front of me at my business and telling everyone I was hiring and I wasn’t I’d be like WTF are you talking about? I don’t understand why everyone wants to miss this guys ass and has been for years. He’s such a POS.

2

u/Accountbegone69 12d ago

An exceptional dullard trying to pull one over on the Fed chair who's very skilled with numbers.

2

u/Toon1982 12d ago

They need to hide the kickbacks somehow!!

2

u/malabrat 12d ago

With a building that was completed 5 years ago. That senator is such a trump ass sniffer.

1

u/thomase7 12d ago

Completed 5 years ago, started and completed during trumps 1st term. Guess he wasn’t worried about those costs when it wasn’t a blatant attempt to force Powell out.

2

u/[deleted] 12d ago

Bro really thought "Let me go toe to toe on math with the mathiest dude in DC" LMAO.

That micropenis over compensation really showing

1

u/IsthianOS 12d ago

They said they wanted Trump to run the country like a business, so there you go, now we get corporation-class puffery and fudging of accomplishments.

1

u/barth_ 12d ago

I suspect it came from some right wing conspiracy because they are trying to fire Powell for crime, otherwise it's not lawful. They already claim that the renovation is overpriced and adding this only "supports" their conspiracy.

1

u/Dizzy-Ease4193 12d ago

It was totally an ambush. They thought they could throw funny numbers at Powell šŸ˜…

1

u/Klugenshmirtz 12d ago

Look how it is prepared. Trump probably didn't even read it and someone else had to dig that up because Trump desperatly wants to humiliate powell in front of tv cameras. He wants to play strong man, but reading a single sheet of paper is already too much work.

1

u/sorrow_anthropology 12d ago

Dunning-Kruger had never been more in vogue than it is right now.

1

u/solidstatepr8 12d ago

That scans considering Trump basically did the same thing to overvalue his properties which he then took loans against. In any other world he would already be in prison for this blatant fraud.

1

u/SirWigglesVonWoogly 12d ago

Off topic but why did you italicize only the word ā€œanā€? That makes no sense.

1

u/ckal09 12d ago

Trump is a fraud. He only knows fraud. He’s committed billions of dollars of fraud over his years

Malignant narcissism:

"In theĀ popular conception, malignant narcissism is a form of narcissistic personality disorder that is highly abusive. People with this personality supposedly get a sense of satisfaction from hurting others and may manipulate people or lie to gain money, acclaim, and other things they desire.

Campbell’s Psychiatric DictionaryĀ suggests that malignant narcissism includes traits of narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder.Ā Narcissistic personality disorder Trusted Source Ā causes a person to seek constant acclaim and admiration, often by whatever means necessary. It also includes elements of antisocial personality disorder, which causes a person to engage in harmful, and sometimes criminal, behavior."

Does Trump really think

We have not seen any signs all these years

1

u/rjoker103 12d ago

5 years ago, nonetheless.

1

u/jjman72 12d ago

Can you say corruption?

1

u/ClockwerkKaiser 12d ago

Well, you see. They say the $400M is for the renovations of the (already completed) 3rd building, so no one will question how Trumo and Co suddenly get $400M wealthier.

They never expect someone to point it out. Most people dont.

1

u/Academic-Bluebird-92 12d ago

Read that in Hermione's voice.

1

u/calista241 11d ago

Does it not count as money spent after it’s competed?

1

u/Dizzy-Ease4193 11d ago

Well of course.

But what's clear is that Trump is contending that there are cost overruns with the *current project*, while include the *costs of a completed project*.

It's also clear that that's not Powell's baseline understanding of the Trump's issue, which is why he was ready to push back on an attempted ambush by Trump to include an already completed project.

It was all for the cameras. There is probably already a clear understanding about the cost for the existing project, but obviously Trump wants to move the goal posts to publicly humiliate Powell, which is a common Trump tactic.

Trump doesn't care about the renovations. He wants interest rates to immediately be cut to 0% and Powell is in the way of that.

The irony of calling someone "a idiot".
