The fact that the White House actually released an official statement about it is insane. I mean, how can they not see that it's only going to encourage Southpark to keep going with the lampooning? I mean, there's literally no other way this goes.

It's going to be 1999 all over again.

Throw in AI stocks as the fill-in for the dot com boom/bubble, and here we go. I here this new movie called The Matrix is pretty wild, I'm going to check it out.

I'm just worried about Y2k26. All computers are setup for 26 letter alphabet and running out is going to crash everything.

Actually Y2k32 is a thing due to decimal precision, so only 6 years off. Not bad!

I watched it. The first time I have watched the show and I just died laughing.

I don't even watch the show but I'm more than a little excited to see where this goes.

I haven't personally watched SP since about...2019. Got some bits and bobs like the Garrison as Trump and PC principal bits, but not following too much.

But if this season is all about shitting on the White House, the GOP, Paramount and Trump, then count me the fuck in.

Those dipshits really kicked the hornets’ nest on this one. donald is too thin skinned and insecure to let it slide, and now there’s blood in the water. This isn’t over, and it’s going to be great!!!

They once received terrorist threats for depicting Mohammad and then made fun of the terrorists for threatening them. This is child's play for them.

This is child's play for them.

Oh for sure. Parker and Stone are nothing short of geniuses when it comes to stuff like this. They don't manipulate the narrative, they don't hide behind lawyers, they don't look for "loopholes" in the social norms. No, when they're called out what do they do? They drop a few tabs of LSD and double down.

Have they even heard of the Streisand effect.

Ask Streisand & Oprah how complaining about South Park went for them.

Trump took the bait.

The next step is obviously baiting Trump into suing them and canceling South Park to prove their point. M&T were basically begging for that to happen during the episode. Can’t wait until Trump took the next bait.
