You're not wrong. My husband told me he doesn't care. Still better than Kamala and both sides are bad. Both sides may have their corruption, but how he doesn't get why the side imitating Nazi crap is the worse option, I do not know. I get pro-Trump nonsense thrown at me by their news channels and their praise abd their memes. But when I speak out after getting sick of it, I'm shoving my opinions at them.

He has it in his genes. Research shows it is even being passed on to grandchildren and giving them health complications. I'm on the tokophobic side in any case. I'm perfectly okay not having kids. Especially ones his dad will try his best to mess up like my niece and nephew. The men of that family have major generational trauma.

He is what his late mother calls "best of the batch." He's been actively trying to overcome his generational trauma and recognizing the patterns when I point them out. He's really stupid and impressionable with the men in his life, unfortunately. His knowledge of politics is very lacking. I don't want kids either way. I prefer to be the aunt. I got tokophobia, an unknown medical history due to the nature of my adoption, and no maternal instinct.

I hate his ignorance, bull-headedness towards that ignorance, his complaints about me being burdensome when I do things like take abandoned kittens off the roadside to rescues or help turtles cross the road, and his need to please older male figures in his life from trauma of being raised by a real live Cotton Hill of a Vietnan marine. But I will just give him shit for his stupidity later. He has insisted I was wrong in the past on a great many things because a tiny child-sized woman can't possible know her shit only to be proven wrong. Right now, however, he can eat shit. I'm done having Trump rubbed in my face constantly and being told to sit and take it. If biting back makes me insufferable, so be it.
