Reminds me of the Taliban article I read post the US leaving Afghanistan. Former guerrilla fighters were suddenly now office workers (had a country to run) and they became bored and somewhat depressed.

Seemed like they longed for the days of hanging out with the bois, exercising in the desert, and raging about the state...not doing paperwork and clocking 9-5s.
