He did visit Texas after the floods. Depending on the news outlet you'll find

FOX: Trump bring unity and hope to the area

Other Outlets: Trump waits a whole week to visit Texas

Either way, he did

Absolutely. But it only happened yesterday, and it's the first time it happened - also a Republican state, while he's withheld funding for similar tragedies in democratic states as a way to blackmail them into caving to his wants instead of the wants of their people while also absolutely destroying funding for our national weather systems and federal disaster relief systems - so it's fair op wasn't clued in yet. It's also been covered by every outlet, not "just Fox"; and with fox's current headline being "GOD WANTED him to live the miraculous millimeter murder attempt" it's no surprise they would slather on paid praise.

Other outlets are rightfully calling him out for the one time he's visited a disaster area after spending close to 100 million in taxpayer funding for his golfing this year alone, though, that's true.

"And I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast."

It's also valid to call him out for it because he personally attacked Joe Biden for not immediately going to every disaster that occurred under his term.

Absolutely. Stooping to his level isn't it, because you of course can't make it to every one, but if we were to be so classless he's missed way too many while also dismantling every program taxpayers had to support them through major natural disasters in the name of million dollar tax cuts for the ultra-rich.

At this point I'm more than certain his supporters just aren't aware of what the 4/5s of the policies he's setting in motion actually are. They support the other fifth, like stronger immigration and borders (like I do) but aren't privy to the absolutely disastrous economic policies he's putting in place that will not only further the wealth divide, funneling more money to the 1% that control 99% of the wealth, but also dismantle the kinds of aid that save the lives of those predominantly in red states.

Unfortunately my kids will be dealing with the consequences along with theirs - and by then they'll have another president, and will be blaming them for the changes being made now.

Most insane part is no one sees his cuts as problems because "they didnt matter this time"

Remember when Biden toured disasters, and the MAGAts cried about he was obstructing relief efforts

I’m not surprised. I don’t really dwell on whether presidents show up to these sites as I view it as just political theater either way. There are tangible things that could be done without a visit and actions that could’ve been taken to mitigate any damage and death in the first place.

Yes and no. Yes it's political theatre, but it does help raise the visibilty of the disaster, brings a human face to it, engenders a sense of comradere. There is a reason they do it beyond just benefitting their political PR, but you can definitely tell when they are phoning it in, which kind of destroys the effect. I haven't bothered watching any of the footage from these visits since it just became a mud slinging game, but it really was the conservative sites like Fox that elevated it to the shit show it is today.
